Sounds about right. The package Celtic offered fans was disgraceful. Put a lot of fans off traveling.

Hardly surprising. Only time the fans been considered this season is for ST sales.

Fact our board has banned 900 of our fans hasn't helped much either.

I was always a bit nervous about this tie when the draw was made. They're a decent side and being well into their season is a big advantage.

Im not sure how good they are in terms of Legia/Malmo etc but one thing is for sure - this Celtic team is much better than the one that faced those sides and much better than we showed last Wednesday, which is why I'm still approaching this game pretty confidently. Compare that to playing Legia or Malmo away and we just knew it was going to be head in hand stuff as the team were disjointed and badly prepared.

The confidence I have really hinges on Griffiths being for mind, if es out then I really think it's very close to a straight 50/50.

Brendan Rodgers says that the pressure now is on Rosenborg because they are at home. Who is he trying to fool? Everybody knows that RBK will be quite satisfied with Europa League playoff as long as they show good effort against Celtic. The scottish media on the other hand will slaughter Celtic if they get knocked out by a norwegian team. So no doubt who the big pressure is on. Rosenborg will enjoy this game. Its fun to play against a big team with a packed stadium. Not sure if Celtic thinks its fun to play Roseborg. Somehow I doubt it.

Both sets of players will be feeling the pressure, no doubt about it. So it's all about who performs on the night. Everything else is just a sideshow.

Official charter being cancelled at last minute hasn't helped either. Fair few spares kicking about for any Norwegian or Europe based Celtic fans heading over who are not ST holders.

Some things stick out for me after this game. First of all we need a focal point in attack, and that was missing as @JC Anton said. I would even play Aitchison if Griffiths dozen't make it. And Rogic is too cumbersome to play upfront, it should have been Sinclair or Aitchison. Still can't figure out how Brendan got that one wrong. And Forrest has proved beyond all reasonable doubt that he can't fill in for Roberts, Hayes is the better choice all day long. Forrest is duff 95% of the time, and it is a mystery how he even gets games for Scotland.

He's trying to kid nobody!! He's right....your fans have taken a huge boost from our poor performance at home and the fact you were, arguably, the better team. You now have an expectant home crowd! There's plenty pressure on Rosenborg, more so than before the tie. I just hope you are regretting these missed chances because we'll have less pressure away from home and expect us to be 100% better!

I don't think he is right at all. I'll ask you this question: How will scottish media react if Celtic loses the game on wednesday? Will questions about Brendan Rodgers rise?

    - I can answer for norwegian media: They will not give Rosenborg a hard time. And there will be no questions about the manager Kåre Ingebrigsten.

Fair enough. I see that Rosenborg have more pressure now than they did at your place. But still the biggest expectations is on Celtic for the reasons I mentioned in my last post.

If we cared what our media thought we'd be finished!!! They always slam us at every chance and imo give us little credit!!! The important thing is on the park and I think we'll play with less pressure away from home!

I can see that. But I believe that expectations from the fans/media increases pressure. RBK-fans wants to win, Celtic-fans demands to win. Should be an exciting game anyway! :)

Doubt it. This isn't England and most people here are aware of Scotland's standing in European football now.

To be honest I don't think media pressure counts for anything in this social media age. Celtic answer to their fans, not the daily record.

After watching today's friendly against Sunderland, I am very confident that we will get a good result on Wednesday.
The team/squad all played with a togetherness, that was missing from the 1st leg. Even if Griffs doesn't make it in time, we will persevere as a unit, and get the goals required.
