Home first. Gets it over with (I hate having to worry about opposition away goals) and if we get a to nil win it forces the other team into having to attack in their home leg.

I dunno about Beer Sheva. They knocked out Southampton and Inter Milan last season in the group stages. They also ran us very close in the play offs beating us 3-0 in Israel.

I'd much prefer Qarabag, they've not started their season yet, they were poor in Europe last season and they've only beaten a Romanian and Azerbijan side to get here.

Qarabag will be 30 degree heat which isn't ideal

True, but Beer Sheva play in the Negev Desert - 32 degree heat. Remember last seasons away leg? Janko was sweating buckets even before the game started

That was a tense game... * bless big Kolo.
Team was very new and still finding it's feet under BR. Think we could take them this time more comfortably.

Just glad to get through that tie. Don't feel like we played all that well in either leg. Hopefully we can pick it up a bit in the next round with Griffiths back in the team.

Honestly thought last night wuld be more comfortable but they sat in again other that burst at start of 2nd....when they did open up we could have won by 3 or 4 in the end with better finishing!!

It was actually more comfortable than I thought. Was still * myself last night mind but we got the job done and didn't concede at all to a team midway through their season, in pre-season! Like you said could've been 2 or 3 nil

If they'd taken their chances at CP we could've seen a whole different outcome, thankfully we put in a professional performance last night and got the job done.

Aye it was easy to see why their manager set their team up the way he did. When they had to open up a bit they looked really ropey at the back.

Still on cloud nine this morning. I love the way this club makes me feel.

My missus doesn't mind me being as passionate about Celtic as I am but she doesn't understand it, thinks I'm a bit crazy sometimes. :giggle1:

Had we been 17 games into our season the score over two legs would be closer to 6-0, rather than just the 1.

My wife's mother was a mad tim but the rest of her family are huns. My wife has pictures of herself in Celtic tops/Ireland trackies when she was like 9 or 10 but she grew out of it. Apart from her Mum my wife had never been around a mad tim such as me.

22 years today we've been together and she is as puzzled about my obsession now as she was the day we met. :giggle1:

Same, she just * off and, I'm guessing, secretly hopes we win so I'm not in a mood. :giggle1:

Mind you I've mellowed in my old age, when we first met I would be in a strop for days if we lost. I can shake it off a lot quicker these days.
