Thats big of you to say that. I mean you guys only played football for 45mins of a 180mins of football. Offered nothing offensively whatsoever. Only football I've seen as negative as that was the zombie mutants at the end of the their EBT YEARS!

No luck involved. Hard work and perseverance against 10 defenders at the end of our preseason. Finished with a wonder struck!!!!

I don't understand this slating of Hayes, yes he is not the winger we all wanted in but he is there as a squad player. In the first half KT and Hayes were our 2 best players. KT was getting more space on the left, Hayes had very litthe space to work in as they had 2 players closing him down. Most of his back passes were down to having no options ahead. In the second half he was poor but that was down to the way Rosenberg came out the second half. There doesn't seem the same level of critisism of Sinclair, he was very poor the first half but you couldn't question his work rate in the second. If players can come in and do a decent job when othere are out then they get my vote. Not every player is an instant superstar.

I thought we showed a good degree of composure last night and although we clearly werent fully match sharp we were very mature and controlled the game for the most part. Rosenborg looked ok but far from great but in the past these are the type of games Celtic have flopped in. Under Rodgers we look far more accomplished in grinding results and controlling games.

The glaring weakness is our lack of depth. A team gunning for the champions league shouldnt be having to play without a fit striker or playing a midfielder in defence. We got away with it last night but we will get hammered against better teams when we need to juggle games in europe with the league. Hopefully this will serve as a bit of a reminder that we do need to strengthen and we shouldnt take qualification as a gimmie.

Funny how there was all the talk of them being 17 games into their season and by the end of it we were passing it round them.

Our fitness is pretty high even for this stage.

Thought it was as comfortable away leg you are ever likely to see. I was wondering where the goal was going to come from and feared extra time but we were under very little pressure.

Hayes looked out his depth but hopefully he will start believing he deserves to be here. Time will tell on that front.

We'll need to be better next round, and I've no doubts we will be. Rosenborg were awful, but Deilas team would've blown that last night.

I love the mental strength of this team.

First half we were a striker away from scoring a few goals. We really can't go a season with just the two of them.

They did have a spell in the second half for 10-15 minutes. Then Leigh came on and the game changed again.

Considering they are well into their season and we haven't even started yet, I'll take that. We are not anywhere near match sharpness and it was very clear.

I didn't expect last night to be quite a comfortable as it was. 1-0 didn't show the gulf between the two teams.

Think Hayes would benefit from having Gamboa bombing up and down the wing taking defenders away from him and creating space. Certainly a good option for Brendan.

Agree with this, Think we are showing Sheeva too much respect. Can't travel to save their life and we have progressed so much from this time last year. Well capable of scoring over there.

What would be the preference for the home tie, first or return leg?
