This is nuts man!!!!....so many possible combinations........i think my favourite scenario would be if Saltzburg * it tomorrow and we put them out in the final game!!!!.......be dodgy on the old ticker though!!!

Really? I find it hard to imagine Salzburg players lying down to Leipzig when the top place in the group is still technically up for grabs.

How does that conversation go down? The manager says "here guys we're letting Leipzig win here. You know what to do." ?

 

While I've no doubt that's what the owners want. I don't think the players would be willing to cheat to help another club. Hopefully the game Is under lots of uefa scrutiny too.
Two wins and we're through, regardless of anything else. We can do this

 

Aye the Salzburg manager thats had his players poached off him by Leipzig year after year is definently going to tell his players to fix the game , send Leipzig through and leave their qualification to chance at Celtic park.

I think a defeat would also end their undefeated home run or whatever feat they kept going against us.

Forget about the potential connotations, get tonight out the way, with a win.

If we were to win an away game and all our home and still go out you can't really argue with that as a campaign.

think thats what everyone wants but the stress of that 90mins would be unreal , my biggest worry is salzburg win the night and we dont , i know its rosenborg but going on past away form its hard to be confident

 

I can’t see Salzburg rolling over for Leipzig as they still need a result.
I think it’ll be a draw.

The problem arises in the next round of games.
Salzburg should be guaranteed first place by then. Now usually with it being meaningless for them, most teams would put out a severely weakened team in that situation so as to rest players.
However, with their partner club needing them to beat us to do them a favour, I can see them fielding a full strength team against us, denying us an advantage we would have usually had under normal circumstances.

Either way, all we can do is go out and win the last 2 games, if we can do that I’d be well satisfied, even if we didn’t end up going through.

I expect them to make it scrappy for us over there like always, doubt it'll be the most free flowing match but unusually I'm absolutley confident we'll get it done, in the form of our lives at the minute.

By a strange coincidence I’ve found myself in Munich this week and with Salzburg only 90 mins away by train and a stadium I’ve never been to I thought * it and will go down there and watch it for myself as it has something riding on it that is significant towards my team, my gut feeling is that despite this astonishing home run that Salzburg are on I think Leipzig will win one way or another...let’s hope I’m wrong
