    If true we would be signing an excellent target man up front. I don't see it having any truth though. Maybe a loan deal come January for the rest of the sesaon might be more likely.

    Seen on the BBC gossip page that he's a £3million target for Wofsburg and Fulham.
    Don't know about the truth in it, mainly the price tag, but if he's only £3mill then it's worht a bid at least.

    Don't see it happening, I'd rather we sign someone younger who is not injury prone for 5m if that kind of cash is available for a striker.

    I have said before Olivier giroud, who we almost signed would be an ideal targetman for us 6"5 with an outstanding goalscoring record and he is mobile and has good vision, would be perfectly suited to the British style of football IMO.

    We could of had him last season it was nearly signed and sealed. But we never paid the going rate, he was loaned back when they signed him and he has only played 8 games since returning from his loan spell scoring 4 goals.

    Where did boothroyd romour come from? He is not that great. We need to sign guys that will make a difference to the side, we have enough decent squad players.
