this 100 percent, i debated to myself if he should go after the molde away game, but i thought i would see how things go, and then coming into the nights game i fancied us strongly, but from the first whistle we were not good enough all over the park, im sure the same will happen before ajax come to town.

Genuinely can't believe that 20% of this forum think he needs 'more time' after tonight :smiley-laughing002::31:

Unfortunately, a few domestic wins paper over the glaring cracks for some, and that will probably result in him staying in his job a lot longer than he should.

Why? A new manager now would have nothing to lose. We will win the league regardless. Bring in a new guy, give him a transfer window and let him settle in and prepare to take on European qualification in the summer.

The thing is, is that tonight is just a run of the mill European performance. It really is the norm under his watch. I dont know why people are surprised. We have seen it all before and we have seen that he doesnt change it. What do people think was going to happen?

It * stings when we are outclassed by the likes of Barcelona or juventus .when its molde a team 6th in norway ,with a 40 year old midfielder that are bitchslapping us home and away it's time for a change

Sacking him at the end of the season is too late because it's not enough time for a new manager to come in and have us ready for the qualifiers. Ronny must go NOW.

Of course Lennon learnt from his mistakes. All of them? No. All managers make mistakes but learning or approaching things differently is huge. Deila puts out a gutless team.

You can blame the players but look at WGS team and Walter Smith's Scotland team. On paper, they were *. Still won games. It's the manager that does the best with what he has. That is key for a celtic manager.

Deila has spent more than Molde and other minnows that have given use a doing. It's unforgivable.

What's the point? We know he's shat the bed. Why sleep next to him?

    Get him the * out.

If he gave up on his * system and went back to 4-4-2 and got the defence defending then who knows, maybe some more time.

But if its just carry on as we are then its no,start looking for a replacement now and have him in before the next window slams shut full of players lost in football ground basements.

    Out.

There will be no Champions League group stages next year if he stays.

I didn't say he shouldn't (I don't happen to think he should personally) but we are not ran in a fashion that will get a Manager sacked for 2 defeats to Molde.

I've always thought, massive drop in form aside, he'll get the next Champions League qualifiers. I don't think that has changed.

At this moment in time I am.

Hate to be critical. But for me the attitude of the players on the pitch and lack of fight is being handed out by the management team before they take to the field. To be beaten by a better team is ok and accepted by our support. But only when the players put their heart into and show hunger. But to roll over on numerous occasions in Europe to teams which should be considered below our level is embarrassing. The truth is nearly every team we have faced in Europe under Ronny has had the measure of our side. Not good!:38:

I want to keep him, not because of how we are playing - but because I can't see how we can replace him with anything better.

If we sack him we have three options:

    1. Forget about trying to play 'the right way' (like the Huns did after Le Guen) and bring in a kick and rush merchant who is going to make us hard to beat and * to watch - I don't want that
    2. Bring in another manager who wants to play like Ronny does - we are likely replacing one thing with the same
    3. Give Collins/Kennedy a crack at it until the end of the season - to me this is the most likely scenario and would be a total disaster. Kennedy is only still here because we feel sorry for him that his career was cut short and out of a sense of us 'owing him', and * knows how Collins got the gig considering he's been a failure as a manager everywhere else.

Or, we keep Ronnie, win the league and try to work our way out of the mess we are in - my preferred solution.

The problem at Celtic is higher than the manager, it is the majority shareholder and the CEO. Until both of these are removed the club will not move forward. We are at breaking point, we cannot be downsized any more, a team of prospects who are never going to amount to anything. No one is going to be sold for £12m this summer, we aren't going to get CL next season, so where does the money come from? Our 'brilliantly run' club is a house of cards, we are so scared to invest in case we 'end up like the huns' that we have crippled ourselves. It can't go on.

This is bigger than Ronny Deila.

Think we need option 1 now tbh. At the end of the day it's about wins and we all want as many trophies as possible, however we do it. In addition to this getting to the knockout stages of whatever European competition we're in and getting as far as possible.

In 20/30 years when looking back at the history books few will remember how we got a result or won a cup, we just need to get them any way possible.

    But WHO will replace Ronnie?

Roy Keane? Owen Coyle? These type of guys have been failures in their careers and will drag us down further

The people talking about Moyes and Rodgers are having a laugh, we've as much chance of getting Guardiola as either of them.

The only one I think is realistic and people would get behind is Lennon. He's having a bad time of it at Bolton (being found out? I don't know - I haven't seen them really). But even at that, he left for a reason (lack of investment and his players being sold from under him - which has got worse since he left.

I think most would prefer to see us play attractive football.

Can you explain what you mean?

Puts Wee Strachans tenure into perspective. When he was berated by a section of our fans who didn't rate him and wasn't a Celtic man. Twice last 16 in the CL. Yes the dinner table. Just shows you. Be careful what you wish for!:50:

Option 1 for me until we resolve our on-field frailties. Id rather win ugly and be hard to beat in Europe than get pumped off * mid-table Norwegian mobs.

Also, talking about our finances in the same breath as the huns finances is a * disgrace. We pay our taxes and have a good credit line. We will NEVER go down the same road as that shower of cheats.
