I agree! Ridiculous. We should NOT be looking to sack the manager. Why do we think we have the right to change a manager and bring in a number of new signings and be an instant success?

Manager needs, at a minimum, a year if he is to try and implement what he/the board have said they want to. He wants to develop players, particularly the youth. How do you want to do that in a matter of months?

Aye. But this seems to reflect the attitudes of a lot of people on here. I understand that it's a hypothetical question but the reason it's been posted is as a result of such thinking. Do you reckon Bayern have a thread called "If Pep gets the sack who will replace him". Probably not.

The fact that much of the discussion in here is bashing the manager/players at every opportunity is painful. The same people who will be celebrating and praising the manager when things turn around.

People are saying give him time but how much time does a manager need to string more than 2 wins in a row together? We are playing against sides no where near our level of finance, yet we sit 4th in the league after being knocked out of Europe twice.

 

I'm fed up with playing one up front. Whats the point of signing guidetti and scepovic and not playing them up front together?

 

Make or break now for Ronny, the situation is really becoming that serious.

My opinion, a core of players are no longer playing for him and are just going through the motions. It will end in tears for Ronny who will not be given the time and patience that he was given at Stromsgodset. Just my opinion but hope I'm wrong.

Although this 1 striker up front business domestically is starting to really grind on me, he's got to put a stop to this now or I would like to see him leave as well. Absolutely no need for it and it's clearly not working. Also means either one of Scepovic or Guidetti will be on the bench which * me off as well. Want to see both together to create a partnership from the start.

 

No. Who is saying this? He should be given time. Mowbray and Barnes were given more time than Ronny. Guy hasn't even let the paint dry on his office before * are wanting him out.

Everybody on this forum knows what is at stake.except it would seem you, The League Cup, The League, The Europa Cup, our reputation, our finances, our support, having continuity and a settled side, being in a strong position for the expected return of Sevco.

Bullshit defense advanced by some on here because it is hypothetical and disingenuous.

I could turn that around and quite easily say when the manager gets sacked, they will say I told you so.

Its too early to suggest Deila should be fired but I have to admit there are some very worrying signs, some of his decision have been so naive and the formation of playing 1 up front in Scottish league games is killing this team.

IF it does continue to go wrong, to * with Malkay McKay, Coyle and all that....lets go for either Hartley or McNamara and start buying the best young Scottish talent. We've already let Gould and Robertson (who is playing very well in the EPL) slip through our fingers, its time have more faith in Scottish players who will fight for the cause and be proud to pull on the hoops.

 

Winning a game would be nice rather than a trophy for now.

 

We won back to back in perth and against united, in games against the 4 top sides outwith us we have won 3 and drew 1 scoring 11 and conceding 2..

Some of those games could and should have been far more..
We lost 1-0 in inverness with a depleted 11 becau)se of trying to manage Europe(unsuccessfully)..
I've stated before Europe has been disastrous and embarrassing, and our league form shaky and unpredictable but it's early days, why can't people see that?
His score card is poor with plenty of room for improvement and i hope he gets the time to show us and implement his ideas fully as he talks a great game and i do trust him to an extent, he does need to start delivering and keeping the backers on side though..

Wait till we have a settled 11 out before firing the daggers, I'm talking new boys, Broony, lustig etc being fully fit as well before i start crusifying anyone..
