    I wonder if Argentina will be in WC 2022 long enough for Messi to score 5 more goals after his penalty against Saudi Arabia as that is what he needs to overtake Pele to become top South American goalscorer of all time.

    Just checked season average for Ronaldo and Messi.
    Ronaldo-20.5 seasons at ave 39.4 goals a season
    Messi - 18.5 seasons at ave 40.8 goals a season.

    Very good question…I would guess (as this is all from vague memory of the games they’ve played against each other in the last 15 years) lewa probably joint last cos hasn’t played too much against Suarez I don’t think? Joint last with Ibra because I can’t remember many times he’s played ronaldo? Then after that due to the fact the other 3 have played each other so much….ronaldo and Suarez really close in for and against…and then messi best H2H of them all.

    will have to check this when I get chance to sit down and look through it all
