If a song was released in the charts with the lyrics "Scotland you're a monster" I'd automatically hate whoever released it. I'd presume most Scots would too.

Aren't you Scottish? You seem to always use Scottish slang :97:

Hate people that think they're from another country when they're not.

If you would do that without giving a second thought to any historical or cultural context to it then you are just silly.

I don't doubt many Scots, or Irish or English would do the same but we shouldn't be rewarding people for being stupid. We should be challenging these views.

you mean the country i've been spat on, suffered racist abuse had knives to my throat for being a Tadhg, - not to mention its past crimes including but not limited to ;the genocide of the Norse community of Inishgall(sp?), complicity in the slave trade, murders of hundreds of Catholics during the reformation, supporting Cromwell and his evil reign, land grabbind during the Plantation, killing and persecuting Irishmen throughout the British occupation of Ireland, crimes against humanity in the British Empire. Scotland has a monstrous past and allows dark age behaviour to continue to this day. Scotland is a monster

    Quick edit there. Why ?

Your first post " Ireland is hardly and angel" made absolutely no sense whatsoever.

However in your infinite wisdom you decided to replace it with accusations of anti Scottish sentiment in this thread.

You are a very, very strange sort of Celtic fan.
