BBC Radio 1 mentioned ROH in the midweek chart update... :eek1:

Imagine that, they never ignored it.

I've still to purchase this, so that's another 3 votes before Sunday.

I've downloaded it but I think it's a bit of a waste of time, it won't even get played on the chart shows.

It's already been mentioned on Radio 1. That is a major win, no matter what happens.

Are the proceeds not going to those who have court cases? Doesn't sound like a waste of time to me.

I didn't know that, it's not a waste of time then.

Do we think they will play it? If they are acknowledging it on the midweek update it must be a possibility?

It might not even make the weekend top 40, so if they had a problem with it they could have ignored it and hoped it dropped out before Sunday.

The fact they seem to have no problem with it speaks volumes.

    No chance.

They very rarely play songs that don't have official videos anyway.

With regards to the proceeds being sent to those who have been arrested, how is this being done?

I mean, if the guys don't have jobs they get Legal Aid and even if they do, if they are low paid, they still get Legal Aid. All this will be doing is saving the taxpayer?

If there is money left over, will it be used towards the campaign?

Sorry for being a bore and pedantic, im just curious.

I think most of the proceeds go to FAC. It will then be divvied up as they see fit.

There's a song that's top 10 called 'proper moist' which is by some muppet that does vines?anyway that has no video, just a * song he got recorded so surely if they play that there is no reason to not play ROH.

I would have agreed with you before today but that wee mention on Radio 1 has got me all moist.

Imagine they played ROH on the chart show on Sunday? :smiley-laughing002:

I feel like digging out my hifi and taping it just in case.

Not necessarily, they have done away with most of the legal aid in Scotland recently.

Aye, great wee feeling hearing that today btw :smiley-laughing002::smiley-laughing002::smiley-laughing002::smiley-laughing002::50:

As far as I'm concerned, if they aren't going to play * Ding Dong the witch is Dead, then I've absolutely no hope that they're going to play a song about Irish hunger strikers :56:

    * them anyway....
