Only if people continue downloading at the rate they've been downloading today all week.

It's still not until next weeks chart, so your "told you" was wide of the mark.

It's been in the chart virtually all of today and was not played

Why don't you download it as well and help out instead of willing it to fail?

That is the chart for next week.

Why is this so difficult for people to understand?

    No it isn't.

BBC Radio 1 call it a "live chart" for a reason. Even if it was for next week it wouldn't make it.

Well in my case the chart is not something I follow :smiley-laughing002: normally. So as it shows 15 just now does that mean it should be played next week ?

The only problem is, the volume bought today probably wont continue so it will slide down the charts.

Should have enough for the top 40 at least.

Anyone who is confused about the iTunes chart and The Official Charts Company top 40 should maybe give this a read.

The song is already in the iTunes chart but from my understanding getting the song into the official UK top 40 next week is the aim of this campaign.

Believe me, I'm the same. The last single I bought was Day We Caught The Train by OCS. 18 years ago.

I just assumed it would be the same format as it's always been.

The smugness of Seventy Two in this thread is giving me the dry boak.
