He’s the best manager we’ve had since Martin O’Neill
We couldn’t ask for a better manager. Tactically he has to improve. I’d rather have him than anyone else. Hope he can learn from this

Qualify for the champions league twice,he has exceeded my expectations.

Just wish we would spend a chunk of the 30mil we have cooking in the bank,I put some blame lawell for this.

If Rodgers doesnt address the spending soon we can kiss goodbye to making it 3 in a row next season.

It’s tough tho.. that’s our level. There was nothing between us and Rosenberg really..

The way he plays gives us the best chance to get through these ties..

Well, we'll continue to get smashed. We simply don't have the quality of player, to play his favoured tactics against the big teams..

I'd LOVE to see a mentality change from our fans. The board have DRILLED:

"isn't it brilliant how cheap our squad is! Isn't it so brilliant that our squad only cost 20 mil and theirs cost 150 mil and we got a result!"

into us for years. I'd * love to see us take PRIDE in investing serious money and paying quality players a high wage. It would take a total mindset change.

He's a way to go to take over Gordon Strachan for me. Football is result based and Strachan got them in Europe, as well as domestically. I much prefer BRs style of football, when it works, but in Europe he has had more than his share of shockers.

He will never park the bus or deviate from his ‘philosophy’. That only highlights his limitations as a manager. Because he’s apparently a ‘Tim’ (which I’ve suggested before is an exaggeration) and not a Gordon Strachan means he’ll get let off.

I've had the same * from the same fan boys when you talk sence they don't like it.

It's clear as day we needed to get better centre halfs in and a keeper yet it never happened.

This falls down to the manageent and the board.

I agree but we never had 30 million in the bank and could habe brought in the players we need to add that extra bit of quality.

Zenit were there for the taking.

Yeah. To me there has to be a middle ground that means spending more than we do now. The usual retort is either "rangers spent to compete and they died" or "whats the point when PSG spend £200m on neymar". But when you pocket north of 20 mil two years running just from the champions league and your big money january signing in your weakest position is a kid from dundee, this is what you get.

To me, even if you cant compete with zenit you should always be trying to move forward. I dont think we are doing that.

I really don't see it being addressed unless Rodgers finally sees sense and get some quality in come the summer time.

I see him.sticking with what we have and it will come back to haunt us.

He will sign more midfield players and we will look silly yet again.

We won't have Paddy either and we knew this would happen, plus I'm totally honest I can' see Mousonda replacing him on the wing.

This summer we will need a massive rebuild and it's our most important window for 10 in a row but we will just do the old wait and see and leqve it to the last min.

Please stop talking sense, before you know it the fans will be on saying we will end up like them and we live within our means and I would rather spend 1 million on 10 players *.

Money need spent get the cash book out.

We need Strachan in the staff, actually. Rodgers needs help from someone who has a clue about pragmatism.
