Can't see him being loaned in January, so he's got at least 8/9 months around first team before Ange and the club need to decide what's happening with him.

If the interest is legit, this could be a rather telling situation for the club.

Before Ange came in, we was lossing talent left right and center, and we all know why. * poor development to the first team and no structure in place to help players progress with valid loan moves and the likes.


It's worrying that Kenny has went to Sligo Rovers and loan, basically shipped out to nowhere with no expectation that what ever he does there is in preparation for coming back to Celtic to step up a level.

It'll be therefore interesting what happens with Vata, IF that interest is legit and clubs come forward for him.

Has the club changed enough behind the scenes (coaches, development, first team pathways, options of valid loan moves) to encourage/convince young talent that this club can be the right place for them?

Has Ange done enough to instill faith in young talent that they will get a fair chance to progress in to the first team properly?

Honestly, I don't think we've done remotely enough behind the scenes to convince young talent that we have a real plan and approach to youth development.
But I do think Ange has shown enough times that he is willing to get talent in and around the first team and when suitable, give them a chance. But it's still not proven that any single youth talent has been able to successfully make that route work under Ange, yet.

Hopefully Ange giving him some minutes shows him and others coming through that there is a path to the first team, said the same thing about Doak though, just have to wait and see with fingers crossed.

The fact he's still in today's b squad is interesting.

But can't imagine Ange will take likely to this sort of stuff. Perhaps already dealt with though?

Kids make mistakes all the time.

I hope he makes it here but needs the right guidance.

 

Gear is everywhere now especially with the younger generation, it's hard to avoid. Hopefully if the vid is true the club go down the route of help and support rather than pure punishment

 

So....days before we play the huns, after he's came off the bench for the first team, and interest of Munich and Barcelona, this video becomes public light? Makes you wonder. If true and its seen by the Club. He will get hammered for it and suspended at least. If not. Usual * stirring
