Definately. He was poor at West Ham, meaning I imagine they'll be looking to just get rid of him, any fee at all is a bonus for them. With Celtic's appeal to him, will really help.

If we are going to sign Keane, he should be signed for Pre-season.

Keane shirt sales covered quite a lot of the money we spent on him tbf.

I would like to see Keane back here, I think he will really help Hooper develop as they are both intelligent strikers, however I wouldn't like to see Celtic break the bank to get him, don't think he is half the player he was in his prime, still knows where the goal is though.

If we don't have him, we will be linked with him every window until he retires.

TBH particularly after watching the Carling Nations Cup i'd really like him to come back. I think now we have a settled and gelled squad and a team that is totally familiar with each other (unlike under Mowbray) he could come in and do really well for us.

Showed his quality last night, dispite not having nearly enough football all season. His movement is world class. You cant learn what he has. One of the best finishers in the world as well.

If I was going to sign any Irish players for Celtic, I'd much rather sign Given and Fahy. Given is a world class keeper and Fahy in my opinion is probably the best midfielder Ireland have. Fahy always plays well for his country and has done well for Birmingham when used.

would take him if we could get him relatively cheap otherwise i think we should look elsewhere

still would be nice to see him in the hoops again, he was our best player under Mowbray's mess imagine what he'd be like in this team! :50:

So you'd take Fahey over any other Irish player apart from Given? He's a Birmingham sub mate, nowhere near as good as O'Shea, McCarthy, McGeady, Coleman, Doyle, Long etc.

We don't need to strengthen in midfield.

Agreed unless we sell key midfielders we actually need to shed some, although would take McCarthy in heartbeat. Would love to see Given, Long and Keano at CP next year. I think Stokes, Sammy and Murphy are for the off so may need another striker as well. I'm happy with the defenders and midfielders we have.

McCarthy is being quote at above 10m and the likes of Arsenal and Chelsea want him, not going to happen.
