    He's really not that good & would ask for far too much money - I also feel he could kinda be a bad influence on our very young squad. He doesn't seem a model pro like Larsson who was the last guy we spent this much wages on.

    why do you think he would be a bad influence? and as for "really not that good" are you havin a laugh? i think his goalscoring record in the epl would contradict that. i still dont think he will be comin here in jan though unfortunatly

    Spurs offer Robbie to Hammers and Celtic

    The career of Robbie Keane could take another twist before transfer deadline day after links with Celtic and West Ham United on Friday morning.

    Keane returned to Spurs 12 months ago following a brief stay at Liverpool but has failed to sparkle during his second spell at White Hart Lane.

    With former Chelsea and Barcelona forward Eidur Gudjohnsen arriving on loan from Monaco on Thursday, the Ireland captain’s club future is increasingly uncertain and the Daily Mail reports today that he has been offered to both Spurs’ London rivals West Ham United and Old Firm giants Celtic.

    Both West Ham and Celtic are in the market for another striker before Monday’s transfer deadline but Keane’s salary at White Hart Lane is expected to be a major obstacle to any proposed move.

    It is increasingly likely, then, that Keane may be allowed to leave on loan, with Spurs compelled to pay a large part of his wages for the duration of any deal.
