Hello all, I'm writing a book about Celtic Legends and would really appreciate some fan input. If you've got strong views on your best ever player, manager, goal, transfer deal and ideal fantasy XI I'd love to hear from you. I'd also like to have a chapter about what it means to be a Celtic fan - again, if you'd be able to help it would be great if you could drop me a line.
Thanks in advance for your help (and sorry if I've posted this in the wrong section) - just drop me a PM with your thoughts if you can assist.

i'd have Mcgrory and Dalglish up front TBH. Henrik was incredible, the best player I ever expect to see in the hoops, but you just can't look past the greatest scorer in UK football history and the greatest British player of the modern era.

A chapter on Celtic's goalkeepers would be good. Beyond Simpson, Thompson & Bonnar I've never seen much written on the players who've filled that position for us down the years.

This is great stuff, keep it coming!

I think in general just more attention on players outwith the forward line would be good. We've all read all that needs to be written about Quinn, McGrory, McMahon, Tully, Johnstone etc, but you don't often get allot written about the defenders and midfielders that played with them. Some info on the history of protestant players playing for us would be interesting as well. Bertie Peacock & Stein in the 50's were Orangemen for instance - were they among the first? How were they initially received by the Celtic support? Or by the Rangers support for that matter.

Danny McGrain. I never saw him play, but my mum and and dad have been watching celtic for 30 years together and they love to talk about how good McGrain was, could play boths sides at full back, and was nothing but class.
