Covering his face and mimicking holding a gun would suggest he's looking for trouble to someone who didn't understand it's context would it not?

    Erm, no.

Similar to two people posing for a picture with their dukes up - doesn't mean they're necessarily looking for a fight, does it?

In a city notorious for hooliganism, where hooligans regularly wear balaclavas to cover their faces, wearing one yourself and being arrested for fighting wouldn't lead a court to believe you were a hooligan yourself? C'mon.

No, but even if the court had known he had been wearing one earlier it wouldn't have done him any favours.

Loads of people wear balaclavas, I had one when I was a kid.

You seem to think the picture would have gotten him into bother had the court seen it, I would say if someone tried to use that as evidence that it, and them, would be laughed out of court.

It seems to me like you think maybe he is a hooligan because of the picture but all I see is a young guy having a laugh.

so in the mind of DJ CJ anyone who wears a balaclava must be a hooligan great logic.

There's a big difference to what you see as somebody who understands the joke compared to an middle aged/elderly dutch judge who regularly sees people wearing then when causing trouble in the city.

Yes I do, that doesn't mean I think he's a hooiligan, I'm only giving my opinion on how others meant interpret that picture and maybe try and understand how he was found guilty.
