Aye.... I would be the same if your putting up with probably 1/3 of every stag party in Europe haha.

Knew it would hostile. Given last year, and Ajax Shooting Crew. Know several mobs in Europe that hate each other that wouldn't shooters, yet there pulling them at friendlies...So clearly on Ajax supporters part the hatred is that strong. Random tims were told that in Dam square, folk approaching them saying 'We're Ajax casuals etc...we have guns and we will use them'.

Will be interesting next time, be sure that will probably get a much more hostile response from then on in.

Aye...ICF got plastered all over Glasgow & Rotterdam when they played Feyenoord in 03.

    Exactly :smiley-laughing002:

But in all seriousness that's * pulling shooters out at the football,:97:

I doubt we'll be playing any friendlies any times soon, and wouldn't surprise me say we were to get them again next year if fans were banned from attending the away games..
It will be massive police overkill if it isn't bans..

I've had the misfortune of being in a few of there companies threw some mutual pals, they struggled to hide there bitterness and I struggled to contain myself which led to some awkward moments for our main Mutual pal :86:

Aye that's the thing that struck me. Been plenty dodgy places in Europe etc but never thought they were out to kill.

Only one outcome with a shooter, said on the way home...Ajax wanted to severally injure/kill. Maybe more billy big baws stuff this time, but * sake, last time mad * coming out their club house, no even firing into the air but into a crowd. Sure that was posted before the match, these * actually want to kill us and it was laughed at too.

Tell you one thing, with that *, can understand why Den Haag burnt the *.

No doubt Zombies will line up a pre-season friendly with them soon.

    Oh aye...:56:

Think Feyenoord are still really proud of that result. Think they had ASC with them that night.

So is Utrecht. Sad to hear that kind of stories but maybe got something to do with all the tourists in Amsterdam. Of course the tourists all bring amounts of money but the reputation of Amsterdam tends to attract rude annoying and * up folks. Especially around the weekends with all the cheap flights from all over England.

And i imagine many Amsterdammers who don't give a f*** about football don't really like the football fans in the city. And the troubles that occur (not due Celtic fans before) frequently with football fans.

We were the exact opposite, found the Ajax fans and locals we spoke to the few days we were there to generally be perfectly fine - even with signing that Super Feyenoord tune on loop at times. Wasn't until read some texts from home on the Thursday that the extent of the bother became apparent - I was just going off on one about the usual * treatment at the turnstiles!

Be mental if we drew them again next season - get ourselves a proper rivalry going!

On March 23, 1997 the F-Side boys met with Feyenoord hooligans on a freeway outside Amsterdam in Beverwijk and the violence which followed has been come to be known as the Battle of Beverwijk. Interestingly, Feyenoord and Ajax had not played that day. During the battle Carlo(s) Picornie, an F-Side top boy, was killed and several other people were seriously injured. Because the fighting was so heavy, the riot police could only look on. According to some it was a miracle that "just" one man was killed. Feyenoord fans came armed with bats, chains, bottles, Molotov Cocktails, and tasers, many of which were seized by police after the battle. The death of Picornie is still fresh in the minds of Ajax fans and, to this day, his seat is left unoccupied at the stadium in remembrance of his murder.

Only comment I'd make here is.....the only way I'd be arrested or fined is by peeing in the street over in Holland. In other words, if our fans or Dutch fans were making other people suffer then they deserve all they get!

Any sign of trouble and I'm outa there. Seriously, it's a * game of football at the end of the day.

In Amsterdam they have street urinals and you can pee in the middle of the street into them, so yeah you'd have to be pretty daft to get done for that :bbpd:

Good - you are not the type of coward I would want beside me if I and my fellow innocent Celtic supporters were being attacked by trouble-making hooligans.
