Only ever called the police once, caught some * breaking into a house next door to my uncle, noticed it was the same guy that was caught trying to get into my house a week earlier so watching him being beaten out from under the trampoline he was hiding under was decent :smiley-laughing002:

There's a lot of crime where I live and it's gotten to a point where I don't see the point in reporting it, one of my neighbours was attacked by two other neighbours about 20 years younger than him with weapons, they were let out of custody just hours later onto the street where upwards of 20 children under the age of 12 live, since then the * have tried it again with his family the Garda don't care that two men both who have been locked up multiple times are threatening innocent people and their kids.

Stop * whinging about and and go do something about it if the Garda don't want to do anything or you can get together with the neighbours and just kneecap the * as a warning.

The whole "snitches get stitches" culture only serves to protect the criminal fraternity as most of them would rather take a hiding under the premise of "street justice" than do time.

    Aye.
    That probably happened before alright.

But no different than the current system where people get set up by the police.
    Notably Mark Duggan recently.

I feel for you on that front, because domestic abuse would be one of the most complex situations.

Most men would want to do so etching to put a stop to it immediately, but you can't protect someone indefinitely if they're going to go back to someone. I would imagine there's a much higher chance of intervention leading to further abuse or the victim turning against you.

It's an ego thing in many ways because the automatic response is to put a stop to it immediately, but it's not always the best course of action.

Is not being a ' grass ' the cool thing at the minute? If you sern someone pinching your mates car would you just stand back and watch? I very much doubt it.

A guy selling a bit of weed in the pub to a mate? It's a bit different from selling smack to be fair.

At the moment? Pretty much every era in history it's been frowned upon.

If I saw someone nicking a mates motor I'm more likely to try and stop the guy and if that didn't work phone my mate and he can decide. If it was my car? I would try and stop the guy then report it.

Wouldn't just * about when somecunts sitting stealing a car infront of me.

I would report any crime in which I see the act directly damaging someone else.

That means I would report stuff like murder, assault, * crime, drink driving, etc, because I would never want anyone to be harmed because I didn't act. I don't think there is any honour in allowing people to act in a way which hurts others who are not able to protect themselves.

Regarding stuff that is illegal but I see no direct harm to anyone, then I wouldn't be interested.

I am sure there is a grey middle ground if I were to think long enough but that is pretty much my line. I don't think I have ever actually had to report a crime before though.

I agree there is a scale to everything and some weed to someone 18 or over that's not so bad but in my area even the kids are taking weed to school.
