He's been rotten recently, big, big drop off from his first few performances.

 

Would be dropping him out the squad never mind the team for a few games. Embarrassing performance again.

 

When people mentioned Nakamura, was it his interpreter that was meant?

 

Hiding too much

 

He plays a walking pace a lot, thinks he has all the time in the world too. Maybe just needing to get used to the play here. Not been impressed with him since the Rangers game really.

 

He was constantly moving into spaces in midfield and we’d rather pass sideways or backwards. Noticed it with Taylor a few times. You need to get the ball into his feet quickly and let him move the ball forward.

 

Starting to think hes actually pretty rotten to be honest. Few good early performances but pish ever since

Worried about his performances recently. I thought his slack passing was just him adjusting to his teammates but he’s gotten worse over time.

Plays on the periphery, but right now isn’t doing enough to justify having that type of role.

 

I thought that if we weren't getting attacking quality every game we would at least get a bit of dig from him consistently. Been so, so laboured, a passenger tbh.

 

Good game v Rangers that’s it. He does try though I think so will see how he goes. Time for improvement

 

Was way too sloppy today

 

Man he's really looking terrible lately, isn't he?

Not sure what has happened to him since the first few games. He looks so much slower, both mentally and physically. He has this laid back style that works great when his passing and movement is precise. But recently it's so lackadaisical, often getting caught on the ball or making the wrong passes.

Willing to give him the benefit of the doubt obviously but he's really struggling with the physicality and pace of the game right now. I think he's playing too far back as well.

 

Got off to a flyer but he’s been bang average since.

 

That’s not entirely true he was brilliant against Hibs at home; the first hour at Tynecastle then bossed the game against them. What’s happened since then is the most dramatic drop off in form I can recall. Whether it’s his full season in Japan catching up to him I don’t know but he looks way off it the now.

I would like to see him and ORiley start on Wednesday though we haven’t played the two of them together recently from the start.

 

Needs a rest.

 

The team has gone downhill. There has to be something happening behind the scenes, some discord, lack of motivation, dwindling chemistry, * knows.

 

His honeymoon spark has worn off and struggling with basics
