Reo Hatate

I've been as critical as anyone of Reo this year, but think it's been quite harsh last few days. Aye he wasn't great against Hibs but he'd found a good bit of consistency leading up to it. He's been excellent since the turn of the year.

 

That’s the problem mate, he’s not consistent enough. His bad games are really bad and his good games are decent. He’s definitely not the player some think he is.

 

He's been lazy assed for quite a while now, and he is a man down when we are under the cosh.
And I can't remember the last time he scored for us. Maybe Dundee away ?
He was horrendous in the 3-0 derby game, constantly giving the ball away in dangerous positions.

I won't cry in my beer if he leaves in the summer, and we get good bang for our buck.

 

His good games are more than decent though. Some of the showings he's put in recently have been phenomenal. That last hun game i was as adamant as yourself that we need to get rid but since then he's shown he can put a run together I didn't think he was capable of.

I'd say the problem is we don't have anyone in the midfield who can produce anywhere near the quality he can. He's absolutely vutal in CL games for example. As long as he's putting in a shift am delighted to keep him around, which he has been doing recently. If his attitude drops again fair do's get him to *, but he's improved that side of him big time.

Looks absolutely shagged to be fair. Should have been given a rest tonight I think.

 

To be fair he was given a rest on the bench at the weekend..

Another one running on fumes, squad so wafer thin with midfielders, area needs addressing at next window.

 

I’m one of his biggest supporters, but he still looks absolutely knackered after Munich. He was towing a caravan last night. I was amazed he come out for the second half. Think he will be away in the summer, and it’s probably the right time now I feel.

 

The gaps between him playing well for us seem to be getting bigger and when he is off his game he is REALLY off it. He's simply not reliable anymore and we need to replace him with a CM starter in the summer.

 

We definitely need a couple of midfielders in the summer, I’d be trying to signing an Engles level starter, one that can play the Hatate role. So we can maybe entertain offers.

If we could also try get Lennon Miller as it would allow us to develop him alongside Cal giving us the option to rotate McGregor with the whole midfield when needed.

Hopefully someone puts in a decent offer for him in the summer.
Great player when on form but he has been too unpredictable of late, maybe he is another that doesn’t want to be here anymore?

 

Must be the only guy I've ever seen to get less tired as a game goes on. Starts the match looking knackered and by the end he's running the show.

 

Some sublime touches , the ball for Yang is sensational.
