I'm virtually done with him now, which is a shame because he was one of my favourite players for a while.

His lack of consistency is inexcusable at this point. Four seasons in and he's still making the same mistakes and giving the ball away for fun.

I thought he'd become more polished over time, unfortunately that hasn't happened.

Rodgers persists with him bcos he is the only one that is able to take it on the half turn and break lines. That's why he often keeps him on when we need a goal, even though he's maybe been * up to that point.

But he's too inconsistent and performances like today are verging on disgraceful.

Engels ain't an O'Riley replacement, Bernardo is a bit of an all rounder but not gonna consistently be that creative spark. McGregor won't be moved from his pivot position.

Basically we need a creative midfielder bcos Hatate ain't the guy to rely on.

Be better off with McCowan atm.

 

Been reluctant to say we should punt given what he’s capable of on his day but most definitely * punt. A man down far too often.
