Reo Hatate

Just does things that none of our other midfielders can. He is so * good.

 

Reminds me so much of Hidetoshi Nakata. He can control the ball at any speed and from any angle, can play all sorts of passes, can skin a player. Must be something in the water in Japan.

 

He's been off it for a bit, but these last few weeks he's been absolute incredible.

Tonight he was taking the * with his performance, stunning. That nutmeg and pass to Kyogo, jesus.

 

A consistent Hatate is a thing of beauty.

Simply unplayable when he hits those levels.

 

Agree with all that.
He has come onto a game recently, seems to have regained his stamina too, was blowing out his * after 50min last season but recently, flying on all cylinders at full time. Getting himself into good shooting positions too, just needs to find his shooting boots.

 

That was sensational last night, his last two games have been top tier as in could play in almost any team playing like that.

 

He’s the only player in the team who has that pass to Taylor in his locker tbh. Was by a mile his best performance in a Celtic shirt considering he kept it going for a full 90, even bursting his * to win a throw in their final third in injury time. If he can sustain that level of performance (or even close to it) he’ll never be out the team and will get the move he ultimately wants.

 

Said it before, but at his best, I feel he is better than MOR. The way he takes the ball in and his awareness is just on a different level to anyone else we have in my opinion. The wee nutmeg on the boy second half! Aww man.

 

Hard to beat his performance when he scored 2 against der hun, ran the show that night, this was a step up..

 

He was unbelievable that night, better than last night.
