I think he very clearly does.

As effective as he’s been, his passing can be erratic at times. It doesn’t suggest to me a guy struggling with the technical aspect of passing, but just someone not yet on the same wavelength of those around him.

Hard to, as it brought back memories of my fav ever player, Lubo. How'd you know?

 

I feel like we've made some moneyball signings from the Japanese league.

Looking at their main stats, they look decent but not exactly world beaters. What they've delivered for us since signing is nothing short of amazing and they've definitely hit the ground running, too.

 

The one thing they all have in common, other than being absolute ballers, is an outrageous work-rate. It feels like that cultural aspect of the collective being more important than the individual is a massive part of their play too.

Makes a nice change from praying the French guys felt up to it on any given match day

I remember watching Italy during the Euro’s and the team spirit they had was properly impressive. England too actually in fairness. No surprise they both made it as far as they did.
