Not sure, Engels looked good pressing think he'll be better than O'Riley for example in that regard..

What do you think of the standard of the superettan?
Just wondering cause my brothers 19 he’s playing in the 4th tier in Sweden it’s his first year as a pro playing senior football and a team in the superettan wanted him to train with them a couple times and were interested in him recently but he said their manager was sacked so that could be out the window but from the couple of games i saw it looked a decent standard tbf

 

I think Engels is a stronger presser than both Hatate and O'Riley, and has significantly solidified our midfield, adding to the pace and power demanded by Brendan.

Bernado is in the same mould.

I get the general impression that Hatate will be rotated more this season, and be brought on as an impact sub in tightly contested games.

 

That is q pretty big deal actually as most Allsvenskan clubs pick up players from superettan. Are some decent clubs there like Helsingborgs, Landskrona and Örgryte and the league is very competitive

It was östersunds fk that were interested in him but their manager was just sacked so I think that could mean the interest would be gone. They asked for him to spend a week or two training with them recently but his current club wanted him to stay as they had big games so im hoping he’ll still get the chance to train with them. He enjoyed this season though in Sweden good experience and the team he’s with are full time aswell so good for development.

 

That would be a cracking move!! They played Europa League in 3017 and beat Athletic Bilbao if I remember correctly

Yeah I’m hoping it’s still on the cards. If not he’ll just have to keep working hard n try push his way into a similar league if possible

 

Has to be starting tonight in my opinion. We lose a lot of creativity when he's not in the side, then we can have Bernardo or Engels come on around the hour mark to freshen it up.

 

Agreed. I think if tonight was a tougher game or an away game then I’d maybe see it differently. We’re at home against relatively weak opposition though, so it’s a must win and I think Hatate gives us an extra dimension on the ball.

Had a good game. Was keeping it quite safe in the first half but he was doing his job well. I feel like when he's doing it well his passing is so good it's taken for granted sometimes.

If we had our finishing boots on 1st half, he would have had a couple more assists.
