He's an unreal talent..

That first time pass to Idah that he completely flopped was top drawer as was everything else he done..

 

I feel like he played slightly further forward with Bernardo in the team and he was excellent.

I remember hearing on one of those tactic podcasts that more and more teams are looking at having midfields where all 3 midfielders can all play each others roles and I think with the links to Engels we are maybe looking to do the same.

Was class again today. His fitness has definitely improved as he’s not dropping off after 60 mins. Another motm performance next week I reckon

 

When oreilly gets his Chelsea move at the end of this season Brighton will be back for reo lol

The first touch passing with all 3 midfielders in the first half, was a joy to watch.

 

If we don’t bring in another player that can play in the front 3 then Bogusz will be that player.

I am greedy, and I really liked the look of Robert Skov, I know there has been no follow up on that rumour but he is a winger that can play either side; set piece specialist and I think looks like a Rodgers type winger. He could even come in after Friday as he is a free agent.

I agree though I think we are looking at Engels, Bogusz, another centre midfielder, left back and centre back.

 

At his best, I think he is better than O’Riley. The season before last he was the best midfielder in the country, because he was able to stay fit. Last season was a complete write off due to injuries. He is a top notch footballer, and spots passes that others don’t, and I include O’Riley in that. Had he stayed fit last season then I think we’d have struggled to keep hold of him this year.

 

Agree there will be bids .

 

He can’t be sold now, as simple as that. Stay fit this season, deliver a poty worthy season and he can go next year with our best wishes similar to O’Riley. When he’s fully fit and on it as he was yesterday no one domestically will even get close to him.

Just needs to focus on keeping himself fit and producing performances consistently and he’ll get his move to a better league next year.

 

He's one of these guys that we usually come up against in the CL and you think "Why can't we find a player like him" .... just controls the game and has that touch of class about him. Honestly think if he could perform consistently he could play for anyone.

 

Might actually thrive now he is the main creative force with MoR moving on.

It has to be remembered that up until he got the injury in Ange’s second season he was right up there competing with Jota and Kyogo for player of the year. He was the main man in our midfield and our form dipped badly when we lost him to injury. He got 9 goals and 11 assists in 45 appearances playing the equivalent of 35 full games in terms of minutes.

He has played 4 games this season with 2 goals and should have been credited with an assist for Maeda’s first against Hibs in the cup. He also could have had about 3 assists yesterday alone if Forrest and Idah had finished their chances and pulled a top save out their keeper.

The big thing for me is keeping him fit.
