That bit where he road that challenge, managed to keep balance and drive up the pitch, then to have the vision to see khun running, curly the ball from a good distance so within an inch of his foot. If that was just 1 inch less imo it could have been assist of the season. When he's on it, he's just out standing. Easily has the potential to be our best player by a mile.

They can * off at this stage of the window, can’t afford to lose both him and O’Riley so late. If Reo stays fit he will have a smashing season and get his big move next year. The club need to show some balls and say he’s not for sale this window

 

I think he could throw the toys out the pram if a decent offer comes in and we say no.

This has been on the cards the threat of losing a few of our main players given how long they have been at the club and this leaving our own business late makes us vulnerable to this sort of thing happening.

 

Yeah I think he's one of those players who wouldn't be that impressed if we turned down a move for him to the prem. He's under contract so we don't have to but you know what players are like.

 

It would be very tempting for the Board if we get a very attractive offer for Hatate. He has had his injuries lately, and the Board don't like to sit on depreciating assets.

 

Far too late to entertain any bids for him, can't afford to lose both him and O'Riley this summer.

 

No chance he leaves in my opinion. He will be away next summer though after a big season.

 

He has never hid his desire to play at a higher level and because he got to pro football late he is like an early 20’s player maturity wise but is actually closing in on 27 so entering centre midfielder prime age.

In addition, I always recall a video of him last year reporting for the Japan Asian cup squad and he looked absolutely buzzing and just had a totally different demeanour to the one I had seen for us so often.

You are right though he does have a contract but you see too often in modern do football that means very little other than the price you can demand for a player, if the player is set on a move.

The international team piece as well, as soon as he goes to a top 5 league he will be a first pick. Their manager has shown that previously and not been shy in his views on our league.

 

Hopefully get another season out of him. But like any player at Celtic if the valuations meet he will be away and won’t be shocked if we lose him this summer too. MOR is a goner this window that’s for sure. If we sell Hatate too then replacements can’t be projects, well both certainly can’t be.

Thats an £80million midfield in England it would be our 2nd choice midfield if they were in our squad, probably not even as i'd prefer Bernardo to Skipp.

 

Hatate won’t need to worry about playing at the highest level if he goes to Leicester. Pretty sure they are a stick on for a points deduction which will basically guarantee them being relegated, if they aren’t already going down.
