So unlucky with the strike off the post..

I've said it before (under Ange) and I'll say it again, we play our best football with this guy in the team.

 

Yep. He's the best footballer in the squad.

 

Might be, have to go against the grain, not impressed today for me, great cross, but some fkn awful shots and too many passes given away.

 

To quote many a Glaswegian, he's different gravy.

Him and O'Riley just have that understanding. The link up is like watching 5 a sides at times.

A fully fit and firing Reo gives me more confidence going into the last run of games than anything else, he's been badly missed.

 

I completely agree with you here. He has class, that is for certain, but he is far, far too slack in games and his tracking back is non-existent. He should have scored that one in the box that O'Riley laid back to him I think too.

 

He is class but has potential to be so much better if he was able to cut out the slack passes. Far too casual/careless at times.

 

What I really like though even if he misses a pass he’ll never shy away from the difficult ones, that’s why he’s our most creative player because he’ll take the risks.

 

He's came close to scoring in the past 2 games. Think he's gonna score against them next week

 

His movement in the middle of the pitch is excellent. Always seems to find pockets of space to make himself free for a pass and can play his way out of tight spots. I think the criticism of a few slack passes is overkill tbh.

 

I don't think he was happy with himself today, but he tries passes and shots others don't .
They didn't come off today but he's still the heartbeat of the team for me

 

Adds a different dimension to the team and improved us but I feel still not at his best, hopefully next week.
