Only caught 2nd half but seemed to be playing well before being subbed. Had a nice bit of skill before playing a lovely ball over the top.

Season has been jinxed

 

Hope it's nothing serious, but he's really starting to look a bit injury prone in general, must be half a dozen times now he's been out with a calf/muscle issue since he arrived.

 

Him and Carter vickers are starting to look like sick notes…… both are class players but this season especially they’ve missed a lot. Hopefully reo was just precautionary as he seemed to walk off the pitch okay…. Hopefully we don’t rush either of them back too soon

I hope we'll somehow scrape through winning the league and then some miracle happens in the summer.

Hajime Moriyasu has spoken out on Reo Hatate's injury after the Celtic midfielder limped out of Japan's win over Bahrain.

The Japanese won through to the quarter-finals of the Asian Cup with a 3-1 victory but it came with the cost of an injury to Hatate. The 25-year-old pulled up with what appeared to be a calf problem during the first half and after initially receiving treatment on the pitch it was decided he would have to come off.



He was replaced by Hidemasa Morita but his teammates had no trouble in going on to win the game with fellow Celt Daizen Maeda remaining on the bench throughout. The Hoops will now be sweating on the fitness of Hatate and will be keen to know the extent of it.



Japan boss Moriyasu spoke about the injury after the game and wasn't giving much away. He said: "I want to hear the diagnosis from the doctor



However, it hurts both the players and the team when someone gets injured, but no matter who gets injured, we need to maintain the flow of the game and win. I think today's match gave me more confidence."
