Playing with a smile back on his face..........looked miserable for a while as if he didn't want to be here

Gave the ball away 3 times in the first 3 minutes. For all the wee glimpses of excellence his lack of game awareness will hold him back.

We were unlucky with Hatate coming off so early, robbed us of a big creative spark in the middle.

He was devastated when he had to come off, hoping it’s nothing too serious.

Doubt he makes the Hibs game now but hopefully it's not too serious.

If he is out for a while, it gives both Bernardo and Iwata a chance to stake their claim.

Gutted for him. To see his reaction shows how much it means to him playing for Celtic which seemed to be in doubt not so long ago. Speedy recovery hopefully

Gutted for him but hoping it was just a major precaution and not anything too serious. As others have said, not long ago it looked like he didn’t even want to be here, now looks gutted for not being able to contribute to the team and perform for the support.

Gives Bernardo a chance to get a start now as he also looks a player.

It happened in the warm up, Maeda caught his ankle and you could see he wasn’t comfortable from then. Hopefully not serious.

BRENDAN Rodgers has revealed that Celtic midfielder Reo Hatate suffered another hamstring injury during the Parkhead club’s Champions League meeting with Atletico Madrid last night and confessed he is uncertain how long the Japanese internationalist will be sidelined for.

We had to make an early sub with Reo which was unexpected,” he said. “It is too early to say how long he will be out for. It looked like it was a hamstring. We will see how that is.”

The 25-year-old missed over a month of the 2023/24 campaign when he suffered a hamstring injury in the cinch Premiership match against Aberdeen at Pittodrie back in August.

Ball buster for Reo, he was nearly in tears. Hope he's not our too long but at the same time really looking forward to seeing Bernardo getting a run.

He was just getting back up to speed the last few games and then he goes and does his hamstring.
Could see he was devastated. Normally 2 weeks is best case scenario for these types of injuries.
It is, however, an area where we are well stocked with options.
Hopefully, someone will do a Scales and grasp opportunity.

Ah *. If it's his hamstring he'll be out for at least three weeks or so, you reckon. Massive, massive chance for Bernardo and Iwata.

Holm has been punted to the B team apparently, cos of his * up against Feynoord. I know a boy who knows him and he was telling me last night.

Hopefully not too serious a hamstring but he looked really devastated when he was on the ground last night having to come off so fearing this could be a bad one and he might be out for a while.

You’ve got to think if true there is more to it than being punted there because of one mistake? All be it a very stupid mistake. His attitude does worry me a bit.

A young lad getting carried away with his first challenge in his first CL match is hardly worthy of getting punted to the B team. Must be more to it.
