See overall I think there is a good chance this move happens Macalister and Caicedo are both going this summer and Hatate would be a good replacement. It better be a Tierney-esq fee though as he is a top player coming into his prime years.

However, there is no way Hatate turns around and tells some stranger at the airport I am away to Brighton.

On Turnbull he will be away in the summer.

 

It could happen but I agree he didn't miss the celebrations on Sunday to speak to them and he certainly didn't tell a stranger that he's going to them either.

Ange has shown that he wont let a play go until we have a replacment lined up so I'm not worried about it, especially given the likely fee involved. If we sell him and get 2 or 3 real quality players in then it'll be a net positive for us, despite obviously losing an exceptional player

Always felt he was a bit more stand off ish maybe shy compared to the other Japanese players that joined even in interactions I've seen him with other team mates etc. Noticed Sunday he wasn't in the pictures. Reckon he is defo gone in the summer.. he's unreal but really think iwata can step up.. we do need more reinforcements for centre mid as O'Riley could go too and Turnbull simply isn't mobile enough to start consistently for us

The hysteria on Twitter this morning is ridiculous. Stupid fan boy accounts spouting pish about Hatate leaving (based on nothing concrete) for engagement/attention.

Let’s for a second say it is true and he is away down to Brighton for a visits / talks. Do you think Ange would allow that to happen without having a top notch replacement lined up? Would he *.

Wouldn't bother listening to the Twitter rumours about any of our players, even if I did use it. It must a * tiny percentage of users who actually have any real information.

 

Ange will squash all the * around this at the press conference. He would of been with family or something, honestly not fussed. He done the business on the pitch and celebrated with everyone on the pitch, mountain out of a molehill.

Has to be said strange he never posted anything about winning the league. That and the fact he didn’t stick about for the celebrations is a bit odd, might be nothing though but I fear he’s for the off.

To be fair, there were no celebrations planned post-Tynecastle and the players were scheduled to be in training on Monday morning and already focused on Saturday’s game.

We’ll celebrate properly on trophy day and on treble day, Hatate included.
