    We can beat Rangers without Hatate. It’s a blow if he can’t start, but it’s not as devastating as the media will try to make it out. We have the talent to blow them away

    Wouldn't want to rush him but he brings us so much in the middle in terms of energy and tempo. His link up with Kyogo especially is such a threat.

    Start Iwata and Mooy then we have the options of O’Reilly, Turnbull and Haksa in the middle.

    In the 2-2 game, Taylor started despite not being fully fit- the injury reactivated and he had to go off. Ange then played Juranović at LB and he, still recovering from the virus, had a nightmare.

    Keep anyone not 100% fit to start on the bench. Midfield should be Iwata-McGregor and a third man. I wouldn't start O'Riley. I would start a fit Mooy or Hatate, but if they aren't, then Hakšabanović is the next choice. Going 2 up top is reasonable as well. Oh is salivating at the prospect of breaking Goldson and Davies- with Kyogo in there, a quick one-half demolition like in the Hatatening game is probable.

    O'Riley did have a field day against them in the 4-0 tbf, three assists that day.. ball to Jota was out of this world as well.

    Whether Hatate plays or not and whatever the lineup is, the one absolute for me is that Calmac starts at the 6. We just lose too much fluidity and speed in our play when he doesn't. I don't think it's coincidence that 2 of our worst performances this season - the loss to St. Mirren and last week against Ross County - both saw Cal playing as an 8 instead of a 6.

    For me I would not play him at all unless he is 100%. Any doubt and I would keep him out so that he is fully 100% for the semi-final later this month.
