I absolutely love Callum McGregor and I think he is the most important player in our team.

Reo is unbelievable for me, though. Like, scarily good. He can pass, he can shoot, his wee burst of pace to run into the spaces yesterday was sensational at times. Most of all though? * just bounce off him. I'm sure Lundstrum, who's a big strong *, tried to bundle him over at one point and he was just met with Hatates buns of steel.

He was even more impressive given he seemed to adapt the best of our midfield to the disgraceful pitch. Couple of times Mcgregor and Mooy seemed to misplace passes or take bad touches all because the ball was bobbling about like *. Wee Reo was different gravy though.

    What. A. Player.

Don’t get me wrong, thought Hatate was excellent yesterday, but Hatate got caught on the ball and misplaced passes just as much as Mooy and McGregor.

That pitch was shithouse and wasn’t conducive to our game unfortunately, but we still played our game and found a way. Pitch was why Jota and Maeda had a tough time, close control was very hard on that pitch.

    Yeah, totally agree.

For a national pitch, it was * horrendous.

When I saw how slow it was, I knew at that point it would be a close game as the pitch really didn’t suit us. They should be taking away any Scotland games from there until it improves.

I think I noticed it when Maeda took on Tav down the left hand side within the first few minutes and he ran it out of play. They had a replay of it straight after and you could see the ball was bouncing up. Suited them far more than us.

It saved them from a total whitewash, we would have pumped them on a fast smooth pitch.

No doubt about it. My mate's a hun(he's actually a decent one) and he couldn't believe how bad they were in the press. Said with the state of the pitch that they should have been pressuring us far more. He agreed that with the state of the pitch it suited them far more.

I know you probably mean he's not an embittered fan of Rangers, but years of being on this forum and exposure to people stating their opinions on Rangers and their fans made me think: are there even decent people over there?:56:

Despite the pitch I thought he was excellent yesterday, started to tire just before coming off so I think that was the right change but his touch and control, ability to find space as well were all brilliant capped off with a great assist.

Mooy and Hatate being able to pick up space and start moves as well as Hatate helped us build into and take control of the game. When they upped it, we looked like scoring every time we got forward.

Hatate is developing into an outrageously good player for us. Reminds me a bit of Petrov’s rise when he was here.

I was actually very impressed with how we played through their press on such a difficult pitch. We actually set traps for their players to go towards and before they knew it they had 4 players wrong side and Cal was bringing the ball out. You could see we had time to prepare, huns totally outthought.

Mate, it's genuinely one of the weirdest things I've seen in football.

He supports Rangers but he also supports Scottish Independence, Removing the Royal Family and is against ALL forms of walks, be it Republican or Orange Order.

His family are all the same anaw. It's pure weird. :giggle1:

Of course, I'm not saying that every Celtic fan agree politically either but the United Kingdom/Royal Family/Orange Order are a massive part of Rangers culture as a club.

Must be a Rangers fan because he's Protestant, then? A non-Unionist Rangers fan is indeed an oddity.

Nah, he's an atheist. Doesn't believe in religion, either. :56:

Thought as much, actually. Have you told him Celtic is open to atheists? He has no reason holding him to Rangers. No religion to care for, no politics to associate himself with, and no current successes that would justify him being a plastic Hun.

I get you, but if Koreans can suddenly start supporting a club just because a Korean player has signed, so can a soft Rangers fan stop being a Rangers fan once he realizes the truth.

I have one mate who I'd say is a Rangers fan as opposed to a hun. I genuinely can't really think of any who don't have bitter bigoted views that I know of.
