Reid: We’ll fight back

Reid & Co will NEVER accept the blame for their part ! He`s a politician afterall. - Maybe he was appealing to the same 3000 Gullable fans who stood till midnight to welcome the seat filler - Well that failed too. - Am glad most fans on here see him for the Charlatan that he is....No coincidence since his appointment that we have started to "Freefall" getting worse each passing week. - You can bet that he Liarwell and Desmond are trying to work out what to do next. cos as things stand were in a mess and with Lennon telling desmond who to get rid of it will be like starting again from scratch. we should FORGET europe our PRIORITY is winning games against shocking as it sounds FALKIRK,HAMILTON,ST MIRREN again. we should go out and buy the best players in this division i.e Lee Wallace and Gary Kenneth for sarters before the huns snap them up. - Getting Back to reid he's crapping himself that the fans have finally called the boards "bluff" and this is his answer - sorry doctor but you will need to try harder, this does not wash with the sensible fans !!!!

 

Was this written by Saatchi and Saatchi- he would get more respect from me if he 'Publicly' addresse the crowd at Celtic Park.

Well re hearsed 'speech' by the look of it to me!

 

There's two major problems with his statement.

1. It took him almost 2 weeks to actually show the support the respect they deserve and address them.

2. The statement is so sugary sweet and transparent it's enough to make you want to literally throw up.

Reid is a skilled politician and should know better than to give such a blatantly condescending speech like that. It shows both a lack of respect for the support and a complete disregard for the actual feelings of those who put their hard earned cash into the club.

I wanted to hear an honest approach. An admission of culpability in not moving the club forward the way it should have been. An admission that they gambled (wrongly) on a weak Rangers side not being a match for a Celtic side screaming out for investment to open up a gap between us and them which would have taken them years to claw back if at all.

At best they're guilty to a man of serious dereliction of their duties as custodians of the club, at worst each person on that board is guilty of deliberately deceiving the supporters as well as at least two managers.

 

Without being too sugary myself, that's a great post by one of the best posters on the board...QA.

Is it to early to form an orderly angry mob to ram those words and last season's fighting talk words down his throat?

I'm tired of reading glossy statements from the board, obviously their trough must be near empty and they want more from their dedicated herd of cash cows.

 

Reid is a bell end. I actually laughed at the "Celtic family" bit.

The next time I hear about Reid I hope it regards his resignation and suicide.

 

Get a grip of yourself mate. That's an embarassing comment.
