Good to hear, but heard it all before. People might think im being over the top but I really feel this summer is one of the most important transfer windows in Celtic recent history. Last season we needed new players but this year we need a completely new team. If we do what we have done in recent seasons and only spend around 8-10m I fear the worst, especially with only one champions league spot up for grabs next year. Should we go on to come 2nd in the spl next year or even worse I really believe that Rangers will dominate for years to come :54:

We must spend serious money on the right players, no more * risks or buying for 'the future' I demand players for now! A proven quality experienced centre back is vital, a new striker to replace Keane, good left back. We dont need a brilliant team to win the league, just a team of grafters and some good players amongst them. Im really nervous about the upcoming transfer period, more than any prevoius one in my lifetime. Will be glued to my sofa watching skysports this summer!

We need about £25,000,000 to spend in the summer. But that money is including the profit we get if we sell a dew player (Mc Geady - £9/10,000,000ish etc.)

Same old crap coming from the Celtic board, it must be getting near season book renewal time again.

Time for Dermot to start spending some cash, I ain't renewing my season book next season, I am paying game to game, make them sweat a bit for my money !!!

    Just to be cynical...

    "We cherish it...."

I assume he is refering to the Supporters wallets...

That itself sounds shocking. Even Barnes won 5 in a row.

In saying that, the last manager not to do it was Tommy Burns in Seasons 1995/96 when we went all season only losing 1 game. It was his 32 game unbeaten run that outshone anything else that year where we went 4 in a row a few times followed by a draw.

Kill two birds with the one stone, win 5 in a row and go 10 ahead with 3 games to go, and if Rangers don’t beat Hibs there will have to wait another week.

I have an irrational hatred for this man - he has brought our club down to a level I don't wish to see Rangers or Killie at, never mind Celtic.

He's a rent-a-mouth, wannabe political rottweiller, who has sadly lost any teeth he ever had & now lies in front of the fire farting & smelling of stale cabbage.

I'd love to see him go as soon as possible, I detest him.

Heard it all before from John Reid, nothing new from him.

As a Celtic Chairman he could not lace Brian Quinn's boots.

I can't help but think that Wattie coming out with all the we're in the * next season, is another big bluff to fool the mighy rottweiller Dr. Reid into spending a few quids on a Willo Flood-alike.

They spend far too much time looking across the city to that other mob, they should be concentrating on us & then we wouldn't be in this no trophies at all season.
Last season we had the * league cup!

I bet all bonuses are being paid out in full again to the board this season, as they did last season - what are their targets?

    Talk is cheap.

Let's see who they appoint as manager and how much backing they give him.

No we can't imo. He's is all talk and no substance, all the great traits of a politician.

Said the same last season, and previous seasons it's all " we will build on this great season".

Heard it all and it is bollocks. Needs to back this statement with some proper evidence that things will change!!!!

The problem is pretty much plain to see for all. We are in catch 22, if the board don't sanction major investment and find a suitable manager then we are up the proverbial. However if we go all out we will find ourselves in an all too familiar position once again.

I just don't know if we can find the middle ground, and if we can, what that is?
