Lucky to have Schwarzer on the BENCH foo! What end of career keeper wants to do that? :86:

And its a dream in a sense of a) signing all of those players and b) getting rid of all our crap. OBVIOUSLY I'd want Messi, Ronaldo, Fabregas, Torres etc :50:

Key signings: Dominant Centre Back; Holding Midfielder; Goalscoring Midfielder; Good frontman (target man or a player who can at least hold the ball up for more than one touch). If extra cash, Left Back, centre back (good at tackling & reading the game)!

Will have a think of names and make suggestions!

yeah. but this season he has hardly scored, probably a result of their situation in the drop zone.

    my XI for next season
    -------------Lloris
    Hinkle--Mensah--McManus--Sakho
    -------------N'Daw
    ------Källström---Brown
    Samaras--McDonald--McGeady

i honestly believe this is Boruc's last season with us. do not see him leaving for anything less than £10m. Mensah and Källström will cost £5m a piece. and Lloris and Sakho £4m together. N'Daw around the £3m. £17m expenditure and £10m income. not bad. and thats only the sale of one player. doesn't include the sale and release of wages from the dead wood of those not getting a game or unfit to wear the shirt.
ie Riordan, Donati, Balde, Pressley, Virgo, Gravesen, Killen. probably get a good £3.5m for all of those. so total estimated net expenditure is around £3.5m

Not 100% sure but i'm sure he might have a relegation release clause

But if PSG get relegated everyones wages might get reduced and maybe then he will want to leave. He would be a good player for us

    -------------------Boruc (?)--------------------

    ------------ McManus ---- Shittu ------------

    Hinkel ---------------------------------- Taiwo

    -------------------Hartley----------------------

    McGeady-------------------------------Rothen

    --------------Brown----------------------------

    ----------------------Pavluchenko------------

Brown gets a free role to attack and support Pavluchenko :shamrock:

Fair point on Naka, though I think we would be better served to play him more centrally! If he was near Aiden then Aiden would have an out ball or a give & go when he is doubled up on! The amount of time Aiden is doubled up on when he has the ball and no other * Celtic player shows for him is doing my f*cking head in!!!! Playing Naka near to Aiden might solve this!!

That might work too! Or, punt Naylor and get a left back who will do basic full back things like cross the halfway line, overlap, even just making himself available for the ball would be good (not that hang back behind Aiden who then has to hit an akward pass that is always gonna be intercepted and then act all surprised when the ball doesnt reach him thing Naylor does!!)!

i think naka has done his best for the club and is tme to move on tbh. past his best in terms of offering to the team when the ball is live. with a dead ball, no questions asked of his ability. but how much of the game is played with a dead ball?
rothen is not as good as he was. gourcuff on loan would be an excelent signing.
sakho from psg, who may drop into ligue 2, would be a fantastic full back in place of naylor. he can even play centre back as well. and at only 18 he would only get better:50:.

Hammy89, I agree, Naka's time has come and gone. Thanks wee man, especially for your goals against Man Utd and Killie, and for the money generated by shirt sales in Japan, but its time to go home!

Sakho? No, get that Czech Kadlec or our Croatian full-backs Babic and Pranjic. Rothen and Kallstrom are the only ones fit to replace The Mage, but, can we bring them?
