Most annoying thing about this site is the amount of threads people start on here, then various jobsworths appear and say "bla bla blah, no source or whatever, thread closed" or "couldnt you see there was already a thread started on the size of scott browns toenail last week.....thread closed you silly little man".

Then * like this runs and runs. Something that has no place at a football ground and should also have no place in a forum about celtic football club.
Maybe some sort of politics section should be set up for the folk that like the sound of their own voice, so the football supporters arent subjected to it.

Seriously though, some very strange attitudes and opinions on here among the celtic support. Celtic support suppressed peoples, minorities, etc.
Just interested now, can any of the flag carrying posse explain to me a few things:

a] Why do you feel you should bother with this stuff / how does it affect you ???
b] Why do you feel you need to take it to a football game ???
c] Do you think it makes any difference to whatever struggle you support ???

The transfer rumour section has its own set of rules and when threads dont satisfy those those rules, they are moderated.

So basically, this thread shouldnt have "run and run" because of your opinion on the matter and what should happen inside and out of Celtic Park and what should happen on Celtic forums should conform to your opinion? Do you know how ridiculous you sound?

in the second world war my grandfather was tortured by the japs so i could have a issue with people flying the japanese flag but i dont because if you look a japan now they have sorted out there problems and prospered so if you could stop the bombings of innocent woman and kids in gaza and isreal and created a two state solution were they could live together and prosper then you would not have this situation with people being offended by the palestine flag it may be political to some but do we stay in a democracy were people are allowed there say and a way for some people to do that is going to the football so if your not of the same opinion of the powers that be then your must be wrong well that is not democratic

I think if you want to show solidarity towards another countries plight thats fine by me.
I think whats happening to the palestinians is dehumanizing and a crime against humanity ! perpetrated, ironically, by the same race who were themselves dehumanized by the nazis !

How-ever celtic park is the property of celtic football club and they have the right to tell you to put away your flag and if you dont or wont they have the right to eject you from the stadium.

Its celtics rules we all have to obey them mate.

Don't try and bring the club into disrepute or it will look like you love the flag more than celtic

    Basque flag

The only reason I can think of why they would take the basque flag is because it might show a support for ETA and thats too much like supporting a foreign IRA to the board, cause of there socialist republician views.

Unless you were going to smash the drum over someones head I don't see how that's against health and safety...

Sorry if you've covered this already but i'm no reading 15 pages of thread lol

Living in Spain. I find the use of these flags offensive. I can understand that some of us have an understanding of the history and problems in this region of Spain. But who can possibly condone their actions.

The green brigade do well in bringing humor, colour and atmosphere to the game but i dont care about all the politics. I'm not bothered about political views, all i care about is celtic :icon_mrgreen:

and your quote from the big man should make you think,he wouldnt have tolerated all this pseudo political bulls**t,he was quite fond of remonstrating with fans who were bringing the club into disrepute,as the green brigade and others do,regularly
