    We did. Two unfortunate penalties and some ridiculously clinical finishing. Meanwhile we missed a penalty and three or four better openings than the ones they scored.

    Familiar story, but as ever we showed more than enough to give me hope. We'll learn from this. We're on the right path and next year will do better.

    Now let's smash this league and win a treble.

    Look, it's very easy. 1.5m signings aren't making us being competitive in the CL. O'Riley and Hatate maybe as they definitely have the potential. But not in a team like that. If we want to progress we would need to get more Jota kind of signings. Can we afford that is the other question.

    Aaron Mooy was really poor tonight. Has been * for a while though. Lacks mobility and has zero pace. Turnbull was miles better when he came on.

    Though Hatate was also poor. He needs to up his game when he gets into the final third. Hesitates and ends up playing the safe option.

    And thirdly, today proved that Starfelt is better than Jens

    To be fair being beat 5-1 at the Bernabeu isnt exactly an utter humiliation but we did ourselves no favours at both ends of the pitch - Ange must take lessons for this; there are certain players than have to be upgraded
