Yup. Wouldn’t say it’s just the Japanese lads though.

Amazing how the commentators on Celtic games cream themselves when our opponents score.

They put 5 past us, our defence looked like it had never seen each other before and you think it will be different at home.
maeda running round like a dafty at home will change very little.

Absolute dog * performance. Poor defending and shocking ability to take our chances

Will be similar to tonight. We aren't smart enough to play against teams like that.
We will play exact same way and they will rip us on the break again.

2 * teams like huns n shaktar have shown how to play against them but we wont play that way

Utter * that. The * that follow us abroad season after season (including myself) deserve far better than this.

The first two games we gave a decent account of ourselves, that was pish, really really * poor.

Jota got a goal but otherwise he was awful, O’Riley this pushing him up doesn’t work well he was anonymous, McGregor at fault for the first goal should have a shot on goal we lose a goal, Hart that’s 3 goals his fault in the last 4 games, you get a good break and he does that less than a minute later.

Just rubbish we really lack any game intelligence as well, how many cheap goals are we going to lose in Europe? That’s another 2 tonight meaning we need two goals to have any chance.

Lastly our fitness needs to improve significantly.

So the road to last-16 qualification effectively leads to us needing to beat Leipzig and Shakhtar whilst hoping Madrid win every game. Do that and we've done it. Can still qualify before match day 6 :56:

Jaysus, lots to unpack there. We're in with the very big boys, so it's always gonna be tough, whereas truth be told Europa League is more our standard. I'm warming to VAR seeing as they had 2 chalked off. There needs to be a time and place for this rushing it out from the goal as it can cause us mistakes. We'll be lucky to make the Europa League! Defo need to tweak our guns blazing approach for Europe. But hey unlike blue tarts, we had a good go and at least we've scored two lol...erm...struggling for more positives lol. Mad game - cup of tea time.

That was a * performance, Madrid we played well and dominated for large spells but could not finish, Same against Shaktar, just a failure to take chances, tonight we just looked off it the whole game, we lack our finishing edge still which is starting to become a major issue and we are missing key players, the depth is starting to look less deep now. Hopefully the last couple games can be a boot in the * back to reality and we can turn on the performances again.

We had plenty opportunities, weren’t streetwise and heads went down after their 2nd. We are more than capable of beating them.

Really, really lucky that wasn't 6 or 7. We all love a bit of Schadenfreude watching the rankers getting humped in Europe, but thank our * lucky stars we did not get their group.

There is something fundamentally wrong with our club and it's attitude to defensive organisation. It has been happening for years and anyone shocked by how bad we are in Europe need only watch how self-destructive and wide-open we are defensively in domestic games any time the opponent actually attacks us.

We can have 80% possession against the likes of Motherwell, Ross County et al and all they need is 1 ball up the park and we look completely disorganised and panicky. I have no idea how we rectify this other than top tier defensive coaching - which we clearly do not have and have not had for some time.

And this is nothing to do with inverted fullbacks. Even when our fullbacks are defending in the fullback positions, we stand so far off the attacking team, almost like we are inviting them to cross the ball in. The amount of times that game Maeda and JJ stood stock still and showed them the outside while not closing them down looked like it was what we have trained to do. It is just wrong - all * wrong.

2 offsides saved us from a trouncing, particularly that 2nd one, but then Hart has that complete brainfart to IMMEDIATELY let them score.

Very similar to the Madrid game. Well in it for nearly an hour then outclassed. Two dreadful errors by McGregor and Hart

How much taller and more athletic in every single way did all there players look? Some team that.

Atleast that confirms it. We need to aim for 3rd. Champions leagues a step too far for us.
