The thing is that RB aren't that good a side. They're definitely beatable, but time and time again we bottle it in Europe. It's getting to the stage where you start to consider "what's the point".

The players don't really look bothered which is by far the worst of it. Horrendous.

 

I know the odds are stacked against us, but I've seen far smaller clubs than us give the bigger teams a run for their money in this competition. Which just reinforces my belief that the bulk of our squad is hugely overpaid.

We've barely strung two passes together in our last two games.

 

Getting the same feeling watching us in Europe as i do with Watching Scotland...bored out my * waiting on something happening then we get trampled all over again.

Just score a * goal and give us something to believe

 

Could put up with the poor away games in MoN tenure as home form was so strong. Similarly with other managers, but BR has us playing gash at home in Europe too.

 

I now understand the saying "its like watching paint dry" This is dire!

 

Benkovic is a much better defender mate. OK, maybe I'm blaming Boyata too much for tonight's display but I think we could do better. And before you ask, I don't where this BETTER defender is, but we must be able to afford better than him.

This is what you get when you don't recruit quality you set the bar very low and even fail to meet that
Said it before the financial model at Celtic will mean we never go * up but also means we need to be really lucky to achieve anything in Europe

but the real question is how many of our players would walk into an EPL team? KT would get into most but i don' think many of our other players would be playing every week in the EPL

 

FFS. Need to take those chances in Europe. Poor.

The worst is, they are also without many key players being injured or rested

 

its hard to criticize a double treble winning manager but the truth is he is what they call and ideologue

he has his mind set on the way the team should always play a kind of pureist and never changes it

this means that if the players cant play it or aint good enough it leads to performances in europe like we see unfortunately

 

Tierney is the only player of ours that could get a game in England realistically. Ntcham looks good at our level but look down at the premier league and teams like Crystal Palace etc have about 4 CM's with better passing range
