I also think we should surprize them with a different formation but i dont know if a 3-5-2 will work:50:

We know how they are going to play i believe smith will play 1 up front, and will have laverty or something on the wing but he will tuck into midfield so they have 5 in the middle and it will make him look as though he,s played an attacking line up with 2 strikers:icon_mrgreen:

They will be defending for there lifes and playing for the draw, i believe if we take 1 of the chances that fall our way in the first half , then they * will have to come out there shell, we all know how they play they get pumped and passed off the park by near enough every team they play against , break up the park once then score, then sit back and defend, they are lucky * and i know we are better than them, they also know were better so if we get this win i believe we have a good chance a getting back into this title but all we can do is give it our best shot

I've made t clear I think we'll take a minimum 4 points from the two games against them , but they do have one advantage over us.. They can play their ultra boring 10 men behind the ball to try and maintain the points gap , or the slighty less boring 8 or 9 men behind the ball which I think gives them at least two game plans.. As per recent games against them it's probably going to be about the first goal.. We get it and they have to come at us.. Then we go and get another...
If they get the first goal then we have to try , try again , and try yet again to break them down..

I can't see them starting the match aggressively and will put up brick walls and try to pick us off.. Not sure what is our best way to go.. Brown is pretty effective wide right so maybe the idea was to play him there today (I think it's the role he played at Hibs as well as for Scotland) to offer a bit of protection down our right side to see how him and Hinkel worked together.. You just never know what TM will do regrds team selection so it's almost certainly a wait and see an hour before kick-off job..

    Bring them on!

I hope Keane rips them a new one, I'm like nothing more than him scoring against the scum at Ibrox.

    I'd pick this eleven:

    Boruc

    Hinkel - Rogne - Thompson - Braafheid

    McGeady - Crosas - N'Guemo - Kamara

    Keane - Fortuné

I'm even more confident than I was for last Old Firm. Don't know why, but I have funny feeling we'll use majority of our chances, unlike on all matches this season.

Rogne looks solid and Thompson has already proven he's better than Loovens. Unfortunately I think Mowbray will be dumb enough to play O'Dea and Loovend which is fatal combination.

Midfield with N'Guemo is a must. Crosas was excellent on last Old Firm, hopefully Mowbray realises he can produce goods against them. But knowing him, he'll stick with Brown.

Keane with Fortuné is lethal pairing, I hope they pump them. Both of them give their all in every match, we can expect them to do everything to score.

i would like to think, tony and peter sit down with the new lads and have a word with them about this game, as these * are going to kick, bite, elbow, and spit on yeh, so i would rather they knew and its every possibility they get away with it, just to remind the new players not to retaliate as it will be them, that is sent of

    What I want

    1.Boruc

    2.Hinkel 25.Rogne 22.Loovens 21.Braafheid

    46.McGeady 6.N'Guemo 8.Brown(c) 15.Kamara

    10.Fortune 7.Keane
    Subs
    24.Zaluska
    38.Thompson
    48.O'Dea
    17.Crosas
    18.Ki
    19.Rasmussen
    9.Samaras

I want Ras to start but Keano and Fortune are both playing really well.

If Loovnes is fit I think he will partner O'Dea but if not i think Thompson and O'Dea but I really want Rogne to play but doubt it

The reason i go with N"Guemo and Crosas is they ran the midfield in the last game which i was really surprised about ,i honestly thought the rangers bully boys would run over them but those 2 were stand-outs that day and i would stay with them but Crosas hasnt played since Brown's return so it will be Brown who starts.

I think for games like these we have to go for some experience in there i.e players that have played in an Old Firm before, tis the reason I have went for Darren O'Dea in there, & with Maloney back in full training would expect him to be on the bench. Hope Celtic play to there attacking best & don't leak any stupid goals..

think smith will play 1 up (miller)and go for the draw so we have to
hit them early (keane to score first) every man must do his job.
when they step on that park they must be in no doubt whats
required of them no matter who is picked.
a m.o.n.style team talk talk from lenny before kick off will help

We must play a slower pace, like in the first half of the DUTD game. It grants more defensive security, which we badly need. It allows for longer periods of possession which we will need to slowly grind the Huns' defense down. Rogne and Thompson should play as CB-s, can't think of anything safer. Rasmussen has to play together with Keane, because I doubt Keane together with Fortune will get a lot of chances to break away without someone as cagey as Rasmussen with them. Poachers will be vital, just like McDonald scored in the last OF. Brown has to repeat his last performance, and get in about the Huns, as he's the most combative man we've got.
