4-5-1 for this game. This idea that Stokes and Hooper play really well together has had a dent put in it lately.

    Forster
    Matthews Rogne Mulgrew Ledley
    Commons Brown Ki Wanyama Samaras
    Hooper

I would drop Stokes and Forrest. Put Ledley at left back and get chuck back into his best position along with rogne.

A solid midfield trio of Brown/Ki/Wanyama should completely dominate the huns. Then we have Commons/Samaras/Hooper to run riot at their defence. It was a decision between stokes and hooper for the striking role but i went with hooper as he does have a knack of scoring against them. Bring Commons in for forrest, perfect game for Commons to really get his confidence back.

That team there if playing to its potential should be able to destroy the huns.

New lineup after thinking about it:

    Forster
    Matthews, Rogne, Wanyama, Mulgrew
    Brown, Ki, Ledley, Commons
    Hooper, Samaras

4-4-2 to start in order to try to get an early goal or two.
Then move to 4-5-1 with Commons going to the right wing and Samaras left.

Subs: Zaluska, Cha, Izaguirre, McCourt, Ibrahim/McGeouch, Forrest, Stokes/Brozek

Is Lafferty back fit again for them? What about Bocanegra?

Was hoping they were going to have a bare bones youth team again like they did this weekend.

I think both Stokes and Hooper need dropping, Stokesy was atrocious vs Killie and Gary hasn't been on top form for probably a couple months, infact neither of them have, despite both still scoring.

I know Lenny won't drop both of them, and rightly so because that's the type of knee-* reaction us fans make and a manager gets payed to be better than that, i'm just * off we all made Lenny drop Samaras for Stokes in the 1st place, everyone was going mental at NL for not playing Stokes in the big games, well now we know why he doesn't.

As for any other team changes, the only thing i'd switch is Izzy at LB but only if he's 100% fine which I doubt. I hope he and Forrest are both fit though.

Matthews and Ledley had their worst games for Celtic on Sunday, i'm positive they won't do that again, this must be the longest run Hooper's had for us without a goal, and i'm sure it's only 4 games or something, so if he plays surely he'll bang one in at Ibrokes. He always scores vs the huns.

The quickest and best way to repay the fans who paid good money to go to the cup final would be to firstly show 110% effort from the first minute to the last and secondly and most importantly put on a performance and achieve a victory at the home of those manky * and put a nail in their coffin.

I want to see the team respond in a positive manner to defeat and show this country exactly why we are the best team by a considerable distance.
