They have played * since going into administration no doubt about it but this is an Old Firm game. Everyone will be up for it.

If Whittaker and Lafferty come back for Sunday its the same side who game us a game in December minus Jelavic. If they got that goal that should have stood in the 1st half it quite easily could have been a different result.

We're a far better side than Killie and still got beat.

Rangers still have the countrys no.1 GoalKeeper.

Still have 4 full international defenders (Whittaker, Goian, Bocanegra, Papac)

Will have a much better midfield than Killie had in Aluko, Edu, Davis & Wallace.

Will probably hit the long ball to McCulloch who'll be paired with Lafferty up front. This is why Rogne will definetly play as he's the only CB who will physically compete with him. Kelvin Wilson will be bullied, thats why i suspect he'll not be playing.

Rangers aren't what they were in years gone by but this is OF day and its not the most talented team who wins but the team who wants it more.

Very little football will be played on Sunday which will suit them. Don't ever think an OF game is a fore gone conclusion.

Nervous as all * sitting here thinking about this game. We should beat them comfortably, but you never know in this fixture.

I'm not nervous at all right now. The nerves won't kick in for me until Saturday night, but even then, I'll have the rebel tunes up full blast per tradition and will be reliving past derby glories :50:

How nervous I am will also depend on the outcome of the Motherwell game the day before. If it does turn out to be a potential title winning match, then I'll probably be hiding behind the couch for most of the 90 minutes, unless Samaras goes out and scores an early hat trick. If Motherwell win against Killie, * it. It is still a great chance to deliver a good, old fashioned Hunskelping. You can't beat the feeling of derby day in Glasgow.

It's going to be a battle on Sunday so we must play players who are willing to battle.Wilson must be dropped bcoz elbows will play up front and to combat their aggression I'd play mulgrew and rogne,I'd also play ledley at left back with Sampras in front of him.brown and wanyama in the middle and Forrest on the right.stokes and Hooper up front or maybe even a 451 with Sampras up front on his own and bring ki and commons into the 5 man midfield.

This could be our last game ever against this mob in their current form so I expect every player to give the game the respect and attention it deserves. There better not be a hint of complacency in any of our players. We have battled the huns for more than 100 years in this city with players and fans alike having to fight every step of the way against the bigotry and discrimination that overshaddows our sporting rivalry. Many a man has pulled on the hoops and sweated blood for the Celtic in this fixture and I expect every player now to be ready to do the same. The huns are wounded but they are still dangerous and will be backed by a stadium full of angry hafeful bears so we need to be ready. We need to be pumped. I want to see the passion that we see in our support in every player. I want to see maximum effort with every ball chased down and every ball contested. This is our cup final. We must play football the Glasgow Celtic way. What a day it will be if we can for just one last time lay the smackdown on the bigots and the cheats and hammer one last nail into the coffin of Rangers FC. Mon the * hoops Lets all do the huddle

    Forster
    Cha Rogne Mulgrew Matthews
    Brown Wanyama Ledley Sammy
    Stokes Hooper

I have no idea what is happening with Izzy, but I doubt we will be risking him and I don't want Charlie at LB so Matthews it is.

Stokes and Hooper have over 40 goals between them, they have to start regardless of current form.

Big Sammy to drive at their slow cumbersome defence and Brown can tuck in and make a midfield 3 to combat their 3 that they are sure to have in the middle, he can also cover for Cha when he bombs up the wing.

I really think we are going to give them a doing but I'll be sensible when predicting a scoreline.

    8-0 to the Hoops :icon_mrgreen:

That's the team I'd go with actually.

Earlier on I posted a team with Ledley at left back and Ki in the middle but I would much rather see Joe in the middle with Vic. I'm probably Cha's biggest critic on here but if playing him means that Ledley can be in his preferred position then I'm all for it.

A loss here would be the most painful one in a long time. But that wont happen :50:

Would go with Sammy up front himself and play 5 in midfield, keep it tight at the start. Can see this game being a struggle, these * will be well up for it and our players look like they need a good boot up the *. Start Cha at RB and get Mulgrew back at CH. Ki should start as well and Brown at RM.

Indeed. As always in the past years, the huns will start ferociously and will look for an early goal. If we not concede within the first 20 min we should be able to hammer this mob.

Nevertheless, after the League Cup Final, I am not having high hopes anymore.

They'll start quickly but once things aren't going their way, they'll collapse to their recent form.

If we win the league there i hope our players go absolutely mental. Ill never forget they * doing the huddle in the middle of our pitch in 99. It's our turn again, and it doesnt come along every year so why not make the most of it? :50:

We need to take control of the midfield so cant afford to get caught out with them having an extra player in there so:

    Forster

    Matthews Rogne Wanyama Mulgrew

    Forrest Brown Ki Ledley Samaras

    Hooper

No way man. Ki is not the right choice. I would go with Stokes and Hooper with Samaras on the left or Hooper on his own with Samaras out left in a 5 man midfield with Wanyama, Brown, Ledley and Forrest.

They will get stuck in at the start, they've got nothing to lose but they will try to restore some pride. Once we deal with the early storm, we should make our superiority count and win the game handsomely.

The Rangers team last week against Dundee Utd.

    McGregor

    McCabe Perry McCulloch Wallace

    Bedoya Davis Edu Mitchell

    Kerkar Little

The Rangers team this week against us. (If rumours are to believed of Whittaker & Lafferty making a return)

    McGregor

    Whittaker Goian Bocanegra Papac

    Aluko Davis Edu Wallace

    McCulloch Lafferty

Both totally different teams as you can see.

    This will be a battle.

And this is the team that trashed us in September 4-2.

    McGregor

    Whittaker Goian Bocanegra Papac
    Naismith Davis Edu Wylde

    Jelavic Lafferty

It is a bit weaker because no Naismith and no Jelavic, but their defensive is still solid. Can't believe that after all that happened, we are still facing such a team. The longer I think about it, the less confident I feel.
