    Exactly.

I always thought that red cards were for either a player being brought down in an obvious goal scoring opportunity or for a vicious tackle. This was neither. Same as Cha's. That wasn't an obvious scoring chance and wasn't a vicious tackle (although the way Wallace collapsed was sore on the eyes to watch).

At the end of the day bhoys, when you go in 2 footed with your studs up most refs are gonna send you off. 10 years ago it wouldn't have happened. Thats just the way the game has changed.

We just weren't going to be allowed to win that game today, ref was an abject embarrassment; how the * did Steven Whittaker manage to get through that game without being booked?

Weirdly was quite proud of the team coming back to 3-2 with 9 men, another 5 minutes and I think we would have got the third.

That said, why the * was Cha playing? Whether he deserved to be sent off or not, it was madness playing matthews at LB to let cha in, would have been better off just playing izzy

Does seem we've hit a wee slump at possibly the most important time of the season, though its probably just as well we're at home next week

This is the only thing I don't understand. If Izzy was fit why not play him on the left with Matthews on the right.

Still, at the end of the day we are still winning the league no matter what :50:

This is what I'm saying as well.

The way it's going is that you will not be able to touch a player without a free kick or a card of some kind being given.

If ever you wanted a reason to see that disgrace of a club die, the fact that our manager had to watch second half on the tv because rfc couldn’t guarantee his safety in the stand is perhaps the biggest. :nonono:

    Disgraceful.

Not going to kid on; I`m unhappy at not winning today. 2 goals with a man down, is a good hussle.

Game as a contest was ruined after 30 minutes. Looking forward to winning the league at home next week.

FFS the journos are talking as if rfc beat 11 men! :56: the cha being sent off fundamentally changed the course of the game, we had just started to gain the upper hand when murray makes that ridiculous decision; who says refs don't influence games?

TBF i can understand why wanyama got sent off, while he didn't follow through you're asking for trouble going in like that

It wasnt really the red cards that * me off, it was all the niggly little fouls that rfc were getting away with, I mean sammy got absolutlely cleaned out by a rfc player and ref waves play on!! no wonder lennon was angry; then whittaker rugby tackles izzy to the ground and isnt even booked; how he didn't get a booking for the 20 odd fouls he commited beggared belief

Cha's red changed the game from our perspective and had it been up the other end the * in blue probably would have seen yellow if anything. It was minimal contact, Rogne might've got in to cover and I still think Wallace had a lot to do to beat Forster. Can't complain about Wanyama's tackle - two footed lunge, straight red. Losing Cha killed the game as a contest, going down to 9 was just another nail in the coffin. Had it been 11 vs. 11 the game would've been more of a spectacle. 3-2 made it seem an epic...in truth we were lucky not to be embarassed out there, 9 men or not.

We need some serious steel in the transfer window. The current team are a bunch of lightweight bottlers - they can't handle the pressure and win in important games. Beside beating Rangers (at home) we've lost or * up in every other game that's actually had any sort of meaning. Ross County, Inverness, Killie, Rangers, Utrecht, Sion, Braga...the list goes on. No matter how far Rangers are on their knees the team still manage to * it up every time. Rangers deserve credit considering the circumstances, but Celtic should be going out there and showing why they're the best side in the country and why they won 20-odd games on the trot, not hiding like * or have Lennon tinkering with a winning formula because it's a game at Ibrox. All that does is immediately tell the opposition that we consider them a threat which is just a psychological boost to them and to our players a slight psychological blow: self-fulfilling prophecy and all.

26 undefeated on the trot is one-* of a record and the team and coaching staff deserve enormous credit considering the *-awful start we had. Nonetheless, the team need to sort themselves out in the big games. It's these defeats that really are a sore one to the fans and they're the ones that people remember. This season will be remembered for Rangers' financial woes off the park, Killie overcoming the odds and killing our treble hopes and Rangers' win today, not for our undefeated streak and (touchwood) title win (which will always by the scumfuck media be lumped alongside Rangers' woes). The team could've made history today, but never looked like they wanted to and instead almost man-for-man made arses of themselves. Capitulation under pressure as-per-*-usual.

What about matthews....I've said in previous weeks he's looked average and today he looked worse than that...

Gave the ball away countless times, was just standing there when little stuck the ball in the back of the net. and gave it away again and allowed wallace to go in and score:38:

I agree. Matthews, along with a few others, was totally pish today. Samaras and Brown are the only ones who really showed any determination.

He's tried to do it to plenty of people. Like Kayal for example.

Ian Black is another one on the "paulhateswithapassionandhopeseriousharmcomesto" list

Doesn't matter if you win the ball if you go in the way he did.

cha s sending off was a * farce i dont know how the ref saw that slighest of touches from his position , with a ball which that diving big nosed * was never getting on the end of anyway , and wanyama played the * ball studs werent showing and he got his feet down so he wouldnt catch the player ,wonder if boughera or mcelbows would have seen red for that tackle
we didnt play well but we could have got back into it with 11 v 11 or even 10 v 11 typically the huns were given their usual unfair advantage, i dont know what i was thinking they were never going to let celtic win the league there thoes vermin * would have trashed the place wrecking the "everybody needs the huns" myth

the red cards were debateable either way the worst decision was their second goal and the stokes offside co-incidentally by the same linesman
