rangers v Celtic ,Post Match Thread.

I was impressed by how loud or Support were today. It sounded like a home game for Celtic at some points!

 

Im just back from the game celtic were brilliant we dominated the whole game.. and they never looked init they played like neil lennon would... my cuzin hired a bus n we were all on it all my cousins.... madnesss!!!! we were bamming up the gers fans anaw haha... special mention to samaras and kayal they were brilliant today. i cant speak my throat is so sore. i love you celtic. * bless neil lennon

 

wonderful performance, particulary the second half, samaras was sensational and i thought rogne, mulgrew and kayal were brilliant also!!!

"oh, what a feeling I am still dancing on the ceiling", Now that lads was a Celtic performance to be proud of. The team stepped up today and showed what playing for the Hoops means I am so proud of them. Sammy what can I say ( I admit to being a fan who is infurated by you) today lead that line brilliant and bossed The scums centre defenders. Wonderful goal and great run for Penalty even thomson had to give that one.
The Centre defence of Celtic today wonderful Miller never got a sniff * have streaks of tears in his fake tan tonight. Mulgrew had a great game and his set peices were a big improvement on usual. The centre midfield Ledley and Kayal Put there foot in all over the place and won the battle in there. Paddy I saw him tackle and he was still going after 90 mins didnt get much chance to create ( 1 great ball for Forrest) but he occupied the midfield and freed room for others. Wee Jamie had the legs of whitekar and weir and put some great balls in. And izzy for his clearance off the line and wilson for constantly chasing back well done.

I am so proud and why is it an unexpected victorry is always so much sweeter?.

i am just so delighted at how hungry we looked today. i know we should be expected to look hungry but we literally won every 50-50 there was going

miller and missing came into the same sentence again but i think it was in a different context

centre backs! where the * have they came from! they were outstanding! i was so impressed with rogne and maj they were wining every header that went their way

by the way id recommend everyone gets on clyde 1 sir walter nosurname is clearly raging hahaha its bringing tears to my eyes

Haven't stopped smiling since the final whistle
Fantastic performance, best I've seen against Rangers in a long while. Sammy was brilliant, really answered his critics. Could've had a hattrick. Maj and particularly Rogne were outstanding at the back, won everything in the air, wingers always looked deadly when they got into a crossing position, but the really outstanding performance for me was from Kayal. Never gave the huns midfield a sniff, in there to intercept almost every pass, made some wonderful tackles to stop the ball getting through to Miller.
We shall not be moved- now it's up to Hearts to put the scum 3rd in the league!

Great team performance today. Notably Kayal, Rogne and of course Sammy. So pleased we got the result, this boost is just what the team has been needing.

 

Got to agree with you there mate, Kayal is a fighter !

 

Can't stop smiling!:icon_mrgreen: Brilliant, absolutely brilliant. Neil Lennon, got his tactics spot on. Thought Rogne and Majstorovic were superb, was Misser even on? Kayal in the middle, terrific. Samaras upfront? That's his best performance in a Celtic shirt by a mile. Thought he done well in the first half, winning things in the air, just needed support... credit to him for the first goal, even when he took the ball past McGregor, I wasn't totally convinced the ball was ending in the net... Great play to win the penalty and so, so brave to step up and slot it away the way he did.

Sammy was stunning today but credit goes to the defence who cleared every cross and pass that went into our box, Rogne especially was fantastic for somebody as young as him.

I think Charlie Mulgrew deserves a special mention also, his crossing and composure on the ball, especially with the lack of game time he has been getting was brilliant and I will have no worries if Lennon plays him on a more consistent basis after his performance today

 

I would like to see some highlights again!

 

Just back from the game and here were the stanndouts:

Mulgrew's set pieces were amazing today. So close from many cornoers and free kicks.

Kayal tackled like roy keane, FUKING SOLID!

Rogne lookedlike he been playing football for 20 years with Puyol

Samaras won every ball and scored 2 and never gave up

Ledley and Forrest were also fab today. Really rose to the fixture and played their socks off

Majstorovic team captain and didnt let Miller come near the goal! Gives me the goosebumps as a swede!

Looks like we found our new CB starter in Rogne.

I'm stunned that no one has mentioned Joe Ledley. Watch the first goal and look at his pass he made to Samaras, it was a beautiful ball that cut open the defence.
