Samras is consistently incosistent but if he could play like that every week what a player we'd have

 

The one thing I'm delighted with, more than anything else is the effort and fight we showed today. It's been missing at times this season and we needed it more than ever today and the players came out hungrier than ever.

Credit to the management and the fans for spurring our team onto a potentially season changing victory. Of course, massive credit to the players, every one of them stood up and were counted today.

Please be the turning point in our season, that performance from every player, member of staff and fan made me so proud to be a tim once again today - bring the title home.

 

There is simply no better feeling in the world than beating that dirty mob at ipox.... I am * in pure ecstacy haha :icon_mrgreen:

Delighted. The back four was immense and worked well collectivley. Mulgrew, Sammy and Kayal were superb. Well done lads.

 

most everybody has taken it to voice up the obvious contributors in sammy and kayal and rogne which is well deserved by those 3, BUT I'd like to point out how Charlie and Emilio worked to defensively shut down that left side.

They were not perfectly cohesive offensively as charlie operates a stationary guy with good long distribution and he expected emilio to do the overlapping while Emilio it seemed wanted them to run together down the wing.

However, Charlie stepped up in a big way, worked his * off defensively, and had a few very decent deliveries from the set pieces (especially in the second half).



edit: and I'm pretty sure emilio doubled his height to clear that header off the line

brilliant show by the lads. everyone stood up and showed real heart. brilliant by rogne, samaras, kayal to name a few. well done lennon for making the changes. thought mulgrew did well for coming in after not playing in so long.

over the moon with the result. must say wasn't confident before hand

some day for samaras to get his first 2 goals of the season

Was I the only guy on here that called Mulgrew in the LB slot with Paddy in the hole?

This managerial stuff is easy.

But I had Stokes instead of Sammy....DOOOH!

Stick to the day job, Sammy was immense.

Rogne, Kayal & even Ledley all had a brilliant game.

If Lenny can keep this level of commitment in the team, then he will keep his job - win or lose the league.

Rangers did not have much of an opportunity.

* yas . can not fault any player at all today ,But Sammy deserves the most credit lead the line * class and we should have supported him more in the first half , Joe Ledley what a * pass on the goal ,
Mc court worked his socks off .

Didn't expect that going into the game, to say the least. We were all over Rangers in the 2nd half. GIRUY, cuntbags.

 

When Samaras scored the 2. goal, the scene resembled a Biblical image. He even looks like Christ!

 

Well I never saw that coming. Sammy of all people! Lennys right in saying Sammy is consistant in his inconsistancy Well done the big man he turned up when we needed him most

 

* delighted bhoys and ghirls. We played class Rogne and Sammy were unreal. Kayal showed a bit of dig in midfield that I thought we loss with Brown gone. One more thing fair play to the fans players and management nothing like a bit of positives to talk about bhoys!! and to rangers GIRFUY!!!!!!!

well done the team, and to Sammy. Today was his day, but i would not totally rely on that type of play for every game, I said before Sammy likes to play the line but rangers, are the only team that have a high line, so horses for courses well done

great result n did not expect it at ibrox. great team performance. first 20 min thought we looked nervous but after that we absolutely dominated. thought kayal shook them up well with some solid tackles n good decisions apart from 1 silly square ball.
