Not accepting lennons tactics today we should have won that game today had we played with commons hooper and stokes. Sammy is playing in every old firm game based on january 2nd's performance.

Why lennon feels we arent good enough to play rangers with our own brand of football il never know

I thought it was a gd save but i'm happy with the draw cos we were quite poor.

Stonewall penalty against Ledley, not given. Then the pen that is awarded is fluffed by the one guy I didn't want taking it. Then Stokesy gets booked for diving when he's fouled in the box!!!
Only positive is that it's still in our hands but we MUST win every game between now & the end of the season!!!

Don't think Hooper should be immune from criticism today either, he was * shocking aswell.

Lenny took a gamble today, obviously played for the draw, and although we got it we were quite fortunate IMO nowhere near our best, and I can't help but think we missed a huge chance today to finish off that * but we have missed it. We have got a tough run in and will have to get behind the bhoys.

Another point gutted about Joe because I think that could well be the end of his season

 

I'd take it as a given that the Huns will win all their games, who else will take points from them? The only way Celtic will win the league is by winning all remaining games, which I think could be a tall order...

 

commons is my man of the match for us. We totally changed when he came on

Brown, Ki and BEram played much better to a man second half

Sammy had a so-so game but that missed pk is just killer and people will crucify him for it. However, he was there to challenge aerially on the long balls we tend to play at Ibrox and did so pretty well. Almost dribbled himself through on goal but for a foul. I'd give him a 6.

Hooper had a similarly mixed bag as sammy. PErsonally, I think he did a bit less than sammy.

Stokes was making dodgy passing decisions but won a pk with quick feet and played better than Hooper and Sammy.

Our defense looked shaky but got the last ditch challenge in and held them to a clean sheet but only due to a glaring miss by laffety so they get a 6

Frasier was so-so on set plays. You can tell the management want him to use his giganticness to dominate the box better than he currently does.

 

A draw is fine, but why couldn't Sammy let others shoot?? Ki, Commons, Majstorović...all decent shooters.

 

He was not that bad the whole team was dire today based on our tactics and and 11 Hooper was * dire worse than Sammy.

As i said above he is not the only person in the Hoops to have missed a pen this season .

 

didnt like the fact we were playing for the draw, but at least its in our hands.

Good performance in the 2nd half. However gutted about the pen but it was a bit soft and Rangers had some good chances. Maybe a draw is the right result. But I tell you what they can't win themselves the League any more and it is in our hands... I know what I'd rather. * bless Celtic & Neil Lennon! We shall not be moved!

 

* samaras. Would have settled the league for us.

But dont moan too much (ofcourse a bit a fckn penalty has to be in)
we win our game in hand and we are top!

 

Oh and just to touch on my other major problem with today..

Hooper was TERRIBLE today.

I was glad when lennon took him off.

Dont start jumping on Samaras, it was a soft penalty!!!!!!!

He hit it well, it was a good save!

Leave samaras alone, had it not been for him, we wouldnt have beat this mob 2-0 earlier on this season!

 

Stokes is a fud he should have stayed on his * feet clown.

Rangers were the better team but Celtic held out to get the crucial point.
McGregor saved a penalty from Samaras, and I dont believe it should have been a penalty.

Poor samaras

 

Well that was a relief. Too many players bottled it today. Smith saw Wilson's distribution as a weak point and tactically, he was spot on putting Wylde on him every time he got the ball.

Samaras is an absolute imposter. His gormless, feckless, meandering about the pitch nearly made me have a stroke, induced by rage. This was a massive gamble by Lennon, and one I think, he got wrong.

Hooper has been a shadow of himself since Bougherra did him in a previous OF, but he misses not having Stokes to play off of.

Our centre-backs were completely outclassed by that diving ninny Jelavic, but he did play well; we were so lucky not to be punished for not tracking Naismith's runs; Ki was particularly at fault for this.

On the plus side it is in our hands now. We CANNOT afford to have another Motherwell.

The penalty was never a penalty and I hate seeing our players diving (the one at the end, that is), it lowers us to their level. Kayal and Izaguirre again the difference on the pitch, especially Kayal; he is immense - a proper footballer!

 

Agreed he was terrible today, we lacked any movement up friont or inter play. If i was stokes i would be asking the question!

 

Big dan was * useless today got far to tight on Jellyfish he had his card whole game one decent header of target does not change the fact he was dire .

Mullgrew was dire too both them was awfull Rangers raped them the full game in the air today .
