I already told you CBS NY 2, last night 3 of the 4 New York City news networks ran reports about the funding for the ground zero mosque. Both CBS and NBC had interviews wis friends who said that he did not have anywhere near the money to even put a down payment on one of the buildings. I can find the exact link for you so here is their site

I saw that, thank * the guy was ok. And this situation has happened before as I said, In Poland a group of nuns agreed to move a planned building a few miles away after people were offended that they were building a christianbuilding right next to aushwits, the Pope himself was against them building so close to a site that has alot of meaning to jews.

Factbox - The proposed New York Islamic centre near Ground Zero | Reuters

    WHO IS BEHIND IT
The project, also known as Park51 Muslim Cultural Centre, is the creation of the Cordoba Initiative, a think-tank whose stated mission is to improve dialogue between Muslims and the West and promote engagement through education.
Started in 2004, the group is headed by Kuwait-born imam Feisal Abdul Rauf, an Islamic scholar.
Rauf, a Sufi Muslim, has been active in establishing a dialogue with other religions and has worked with the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) to train agents on cultural and religious sensitivity since the September 11 attacks.
Sufi Muslims have been targeted by violent extremists in the Muslim world who disagree with Sufis' tolerance and strand of Islam. A Sufi mosque was attacked in Lahore, Pakistan, on July 1, killing 42 people and wounding 175.

It was a collegue of his and one of his best friends from when he worked as a waiter, both said that he had no where near enough money to pay for the building and that he admitted to them he had some dealings with some people who he thought were shady.

I can't believe the hypocrisy of some Americans (a country founded by immigrants from most religions). It is a sad state of affairs when 45% of the country believe the universe is less than 10,000 years old (christian fundamentalism).

If Jesus was a reincarnation of * and died for our sins and all future sins, why did he feel the need to come to live as Jesus? If he was forgiving our sins anyway, no matter what we did, what is the point?

I know i am being a bit hypocritical having a go at Americans because some of the atrocities britain has carried out over years are on a par or worse than what America has done.
