With McGeady and Maloney out and Nakamura never really shining at Ipox would it be worth throwing Hinkel into right midfield? I think he's brilliant cutting into the box. Puts in a great cross.

Very consistent player Hinkel, that is what we need.

Wilson at RB and a midfield of

Robson---Crosas---Brown---Hinkel

Is that tOO risky? Especially with Crosas just back from injury. He did play 90 mins in the reserve game.

I'd tell Samaras to stay in the middle. I don't like him on the shy line. Stay in the middle and have Robo and Hinkel fire crosses in.

I'd love to play Mizuno and pass them off the park but it's never worked before and i can't see it workin on Saturday. In the last few old firm games that we've lost it's been because we've been bullied, but the two we won last year Robson and Hartley played and dominated. Rangers have a much weaker midfield now with Davids Mendes Barry Bawbag and a LM(anybodys guess who that i'll be) But Brown robson and Hartley will have the beating of them.

I think it'll come down to who has more of an infulence Naka or Mendes. My moneys on Brown to break Mendes. :icon_mrgreen:

 

We must go believing we can do it, We have to take our chances and show them why we are champions, they will be so up for it knowing they have to win. We have to have that extra yard that they seemed to have in August.

Nobody can hide in this game, they all have to show why they are Celtic players and show character and spirit. Weve lost the last 3 at Ibrox. We need the mental strength to overcome them, and no sloppy passes.

i rate caldwell as a defender but if he plays against ferguson and mendes in the middle we are f*cked. hope mizuno plays at some point. i think they will underestimate him big time whereas when players play against mcgeady they raise their game big time. mcavennie was saying in the paper we should drop naka and mizuno for hartley and robson but in my opinion we cant take that approach. its too negative and we wont have anyone who can create an opportunity. its hope the team is

the thing is, i just cant see us scoring on saturday. we didnt look like we would for a while on sunday and the strikers ( although they scored) just didnt look at the races.

Play 5 across the middle and 1 up front and hit them on the counter .

 

:*: Is this Hinkel that plays for Celtic? His crosses are dire. For every good cross he has about 15 bad ones.

 

Ok Samaras didn't look at the races but McDonald was excellent. Anyway i'd also be happy with a draw but if we won that would be fantastic. Robson must start if he's fit as he won't be bullied by the huns. We need to get stuck right in to them.

 

Thats what i would play Naka and Koki will cause the huns all sorts of problems.

 

Hope they do, as WGS doesnt have too many other options.
I fear they wont though.

when hartley starts fading as he will do, bring on crosas.please no caldwell in midfield.
thought mizuno had a great game at the weekend but 2 japanese players would be too lightweight at mordor.

If we play Naka, we better hope for a free kick as he does * all at Ibrox. And has ever since he came to us.

 

If we get the 1st goal i can see us winning 2-0 but if the huns score 1st, we wont win. Simple as..
