The team played brilliant today as an outfit, wasn't the sexiest of game due to the unbelievable amount of surface water that was about. Which was a joke IMO.

And hats off to Strachan his tactics were spot on and to the referee as well, he had a good day which makes it even beter since the manky mob can't blame it on dodgy decisions

Only just back from "celebrating"

Nearly three years without a win there, the * had went the whole of 2008 without loosing then on the last game of the year they get beat by THE MIGHTY TIC!!!

And we played the * at their own game aswell, gritty, physical and defensive. What i love is that the huns probably prepared for a game where celtic went wide with flare, crosses in the box with naka etc, like we have done in the past, but suprised the * today.

Brilliant tactics from WGS today, there wasn't a decision made by him throughout the whole game(including team selection) that i disagreed with.
Anyway i'm ramblin now, i'm knackered and my voice is gone from singing celtic songs aw night so am off. HAIL! HAIL!

Not the best game of football I've seen but delighted with the win and I felt we deserved it. First half I thought Rangers went at us and probably had the better of it but in saying that they weren't cutting us open rather we were slack with our passing in midfield and gave the ball away too easily. But we sorted that out in the second half and looked comfortable from there on in. Once we had taken the lead there was no need for us to bomb forward and try for another, we defended well and deserved our win. Good battling performance all round.

 

Fantastic result after a * game. For a so-called 5 star stadium to have a surface like that is a * joke, but in a strange way it helped us with our stifling tactics.

The turning point was the Boruc save at the start of the 2nd half, if Boyd scores, Rangers win, but to go up the park and score such a tremendous goal straight after really knocked the wind right out of them. After we scored it was cigar time, because they never looked like getting the equaliser.

Really happy for goalkeeper and manager. To make such an important save and keep a clean sheet at Ibrox should give Artur a huge boost. And even more delighted for WGS. He made a very brave decision to suspend a popular player knowing it would rule him out of this game, if we'd lost then he would have received a huge amount of stick. But we got the job done and the managers standing has been strengthened in a big way.

Im just so glad we went with 2 up top and didnt resort to 4-5-1

 

We haven't dropped points in any SPL game he's started this season, don't think we've dropped points in any SPL game he's started for us in 2008 but not 100% sure.
